Your bad.......well you know Abbotsford where Victoria Park and most Pie supporters lived  and Collingwood in general use to be the hub of industry well now days your paying a Million plus for a 10 foot wide run down terrace with no street parking, they made a killing in the property market and have moved out to better burbs and higher paid jobs...

 

I do recall going to Vic Park a few times.....before they moved home....it was like your on an other planet, very English like, ground has a road around it, no car parking and lines of terrace houses....

 

The old Fitzroy ground fronted on to parkland and Brunswick Rd, all so in another world, never got to go there as they had moved by the time i started going to the footy....again a quaint ground...

 

Windy hill, 3 sides your up market turn of the century homes, and who would want to go there......i never liked the dump, a bigger dump was the Western Oval but i did like it there, kicking screenings around during half time....

 

For what it was Vic Park was pretty good you know...

 

Gees i was spoilt.....the MCG every second week.....

 

Well men were about 5 weeks out from ending the longest lockdown on record off the Corvid era....Yes Melbourne officially passed that mile stone last week, happy that twice it coincided with our long horrible winters so in theory we didnt miss much so it must be a mental thing knowing were locked up and cant go anywhere......Like i got home mid feb last year from Thailand....not to long before borders around the world slammed shut, i been wondering if it would have been better to be stranded there.....dont know how they would have handled my visa....maybe kicked me out to Myanmar or worse Cambodia....like i didnt mind going there twice and have every intension of seeing Angor Was again but to live there....like what are people thinking? 

 

It has been a problem though, trying to sell that Falcon lemon out front....you know people are not meant to travel more than 10ks from home so i bit the bullet and advertised it tuesday evening....and it was true to form.....the car...the Ford that you FJ have under your Mazda bonnet...had it the lemon that is detailed on monday and of course he washed the engine with a reservoir of water so much so i had to take it to the mechanic yesterday to dry the spark plug indentations out....missing it was.....had an Indian look at it last night and a chain smoking Ukraine look at it this morning.....fingers crossed....sooner it goes the lighter i will feel.....i could have went around the world twice with the money i spent on that, mind you it is still looking good....

 

Was watching a youtube vid of a new electric pick up from the US called Rivian...it is very "Fahrenheiht  451ish first thing i thought of on seeing it....a 1966 sifi movie sort of thing, check that movie out.....anyway it had everything you can think off....nice piece of work the main problem is its US manufactured, thinking of the white lemon out front here...well i did have a XR6 ute new once....so worried i became during its warranty period i let it go after 4 ys....didnt learn a thing did i....well i did have a reason to buy a gas and not a petrol ute and of course i didnt expect to keep it this long....Anyway the guys reviewing it were pretty happy with it and i have to say on the surface except for the lights i could own it too....if it wasnt an American company....say no more...

 

And id like to draw your attention to the amount of dills we have in this world....the phone has been running hot this morning over my one tonner......i clearly have said in the add "if your seeing this add then its available" and 2 out every 3 ask " is it available" and further more....i say in the add my location and the app shows your location but i still get asked where are you?........people have forgot we have a front door and a door bell.....when they arrive they message you on the app...."im here" Then we have about 40% trying to negotiate the price sight unseen.....i do get sarcastic as firstly i like being it sometimes, but i can tone it up or down too...and you know....i dont suffer fools gladly.

 

Ive maintained that bomb well and it still looks great, lot on offer are run down visually for the same im asking or more so im not surprised i had about 15 messages, though 75% would be tire kickers like the chain smoking Ukraine this morning, the Indian last night wanted to buy it then and there wanted to eft me a deposit....i said cash only so he went off to a ATM them messaged to say he didnt bring his card and would return tonight but if i found a buyer sell it....well was he a scammer looking to get my banking details? 

 

I watched the grand Final again....as you do.....and now wonder why i was ready to throw in the towel 20 min into the third quarter....well i know why, i get caught up in the shows im watching....sort of emotionally buy into it.....which reminds me of a long time ago time.....The Deadly Earnest Show use to come on around midnight here in Melbourne on a friday night and they use to have lots off horror and scary movies....here i was with a new color tv with remote, the idea of a remote was still novel then but i had one on this german tv i bought, this tv use to do some strange things and it did this particular late night....i was watching something around 1 am cute wife had long gone to bed and Deadly was on the other channel....as i emotionally buy into what im watching.......there was a flash of lightning with the sound of thunder that lit up the lounge room window and the frigging tv changed channel to the Deadly Earnest show with Dracula ready to pounce, OMG i jumped so high....That tv was replaced with a Panasonic and never had a worry again....

That yellow lemon departed the front of my house yesterday morning, there were cues to view, the buyer turned up at 10 am paid cash on  the spot and part of the cash was 2000$ in 20$ bills....you have any idea how many that is? I set that aside and will give to them robbers at Apple for a new iPhone 13 Max Pro, i want to see there faces when i pay for the new phone in 20$ bills....the new buyer did say the 20$ bills were from a customer....no doubt a pensioner saving up for the job...

 

Marked that add as sold in FB Market place till i worked out how to delete the add....they dont make it to easy for you you know, and i still got messages asking..."is it sold".....the continued "DILL" ifing of Australia....must be this extended lockdown.....were all going loco.....

 

I strongly recommend for Fj to ditch the Mazda since i learned its all Ford running gear.....D-Max mate, thats the go....the 2021 has everything, in fact the 2021 Mazda Ute has replaced the Ford running gear with the D-Max running gear...a hugh step up mr Fj....gets all the cameras and big screen as well....

 

Well Newcastle United finally got taken over....i been following them since the Mark Viduca days, the former Socceroo captain played for them as a power forward, Baker Mayfield is doing ok, Browns are seen as one of the top 5 teams in the NFL this season....lost the opening game but on track now....and the nicest story on earth right now....Jets traded off there quarter back in Sam Darnold after 3 seasons, was a very high first round pick.....Jets historically a poor team, Sam never looked like anything, often walloped the team wallowing in a pool of pooooo.....Goes to the Panthers heheheh, haven't lost a game yet.....jets were 1-3 last time i looked, lost the first 3 games and fell over the line to win last week, so it goes to show you how good the Jets staff are when they didnt see they had a decent quarterback under there eyes, they again took a quarterback with a high pick...poor guy will get shipped out in a few years for next to nothing in return like Sam....

 

Well i not been to interested in the Trade going ons as i figured the Demons wouldnt get to involved but i did noticed they picked up what might  be a half decent mid from the Saints, Eagles secretly amassing a new midfield its looking....No one wants to go to North.....give them Thai gold Fj.....You know once.....in the heat of passion a sweet Thai woman and she was sweet as apple pie, timed her plea for gold to the most passionate moment "buy me gold" she said, now what would you have said in that moment?

I did look at the new one,impressive but the problem is the changeover price is silly money.

I've decided to stick with the old Mazda/Ford,only got 45k clicks on the clock so plenty of life left yet.

Needs a set of new tyres and a wash after the rainy season.

An electric car will probably be needed in a few years time so don't really want to get stuck holding a newish vehicle.

 

Trade week quiet at Rooland,ditched Tarrant for the boy with two mums and two sirnames.

If lucky we might be able to offload Xerri to the Saints otherwise any other players wishing to leave cannot as no teams want them.Dumont the pick of the bunch,south aussie but they don't seem interested over there.

Forget electric anything for at least 10 ys and in Thailand try 20 ys. Used car prices are silly in Thailand, i been studying the used car market there and decided to probably buy new assuming i move there next year, so your truck would get around the 800,000 mark if its a 2017 and newer model, thats assuming there is someone wanting to buy it as the economy might be in a dive.....

 

My car of choice would be the D Max after considerable consideration, as id expect to move a few times so a duel cab ute would suite me to the ground...

 

Im surprised any smart person would buy an electric car right now....ive always seen hydrogen powered cars as the way to go, nieces future husband is a service manager for Scania he told me Fox has several electric trucks in operation....said they have to run a route and its critical how long there on the road for before running out of power....taking what he said into consideration you would imagine the power loss from a battery over a few years could be easy 10% so what do you do? replace the battery every so often? 

 

Looked at the C HR Toyota, small SUV to buy there, hybrid.....was frightening, pay a premium to buy it, the savings on fuel isnt that big, like i was getting something like 8 or 9ks per lt out of my Cooper S thats the hot one sirs and that SUV is reputed at around 6ks per lt....then every 6 to 10 ys your up for a battery pack that would set you back in running costs of a Kenworth truck.....

 

Anyway more pressing is getting your corvid certificate on the god dam phone men....if i told you what i been going through this morning trying to get the certificate to show up in the Service Victoria app..... ummm....says its in there but do you think i can find it? In 3 or 4 weeks we will be let out of jail and going to have to flash the app to get into a lot of places...we do it now to you know keep an eye on us...and let us know 7 days later to get a corvid test as someone was in the supermarket the same time as you were with corvid....yes thats true....7 days later....

 

Googling a universal app for corvid certificates brought me to Apple...bless there little hearts....apparently you can stick it in there Health app......and a good move too i think.....the only problem men is i had to update my phone to IOS 15......now if you recall me banging on here the last few years, around this time with the new phones is the new IOS update which has been playing havoc with the phones.....like battery life out the window....locking up.....heating up....like a woman in a wild mood swing....what to do? what to do? You need the update to get the certificate into the Health app....

 

Ive bit the bullet and its uploading now......might regret this.....

 

Browns lost yesterday in a shoot out with the Chargers in there 2 billion $ new stadium they share with the Rams....Steve Bruce.....the walking dead coach of Newcastle United has survived at least temporally after a meeting with Amanda...she the front and a part owner smiles so sweetly you would think she could be anyones mum.....but carrys an axe in her purse....poor Steve is up for his 1000th game as player and coach next game, will he make it? of will she chop off his head? You know women.......The Russian boss of Chelsea swings the blade like you have no idea....by the way i was astonished when i read that Steve Bruce's pay out would be 8 million if sacked i assume thats in pounds.... now we know why Jose sits it out after every sacking and he'd be on 4 times what Steve is on.....

 

4 degrees at 7.30 here this morning and mind you we are mid way through spring....Mitchell cant get rid of Chad....im not going....final....Does Clarkson look so good now? Chad is a little bit inconsistant but you can tolerate those players if he is in a top team....Blues have been picking up more trash hope it blows up in there face, North......you dont need recycled players....Power make some nice moves, Mason Cox to the Eagles......im tipping the Swans....

Wouldn't be surprised if a late deal gets done for Horne-Francis.

Maybe Norf are playing hardball and waiting for an even better offer.

The kid must be something special to be getting these offers.

 

Norf IMO, would be better off with 3 picks in the top 20 than 1 jet.

Hill may not report for pre-season training until January next year because of his personal circumstances.

His request set in motion a drama-filled few days that saw him break down in tears at one point as he pleaded for Greater Western Sydney to free him from his contract and send him to Essendon.

 

But Giants list boss Jason McCartney said on Wednesday night they never considered trading the 21-year-old, in large part because of the small forward shortage at the club.

Exacerbating that problem is that superstar Toby Greene will miss the first five rounds of next season serving the rest of his suspension for intentional umpire contact.

“I’ve just been speaking with the family and it’s something when it comes up so late and you’re in contract like that, it’s really hard to facilitate,” McCartney said.

 

“We weren’t contemplating doing any trading and moving out Bobby. We rate him as a player, he’s got a year to go and he’s really important … we’re in the business of winning football (games).

 

“We know Bobby has been fine at our football club – there are no issues – and this came up only last Friday or Saturday and it was the first we’d heard of it, so we weren’t willing to do anything.

Should be pretty easy you know, dont want to go to a club the first time drafted you sit out the beginners contract. Your a contracted player and want to leave, you should get sued for not for filling you contractual obligations....They have Free Agency you know and its got even sweeter for then in recent times...

 

Meanwhile The Rolling Stones have retired "Brown Sugar" turns out after many years of harassment from the do gooders they Mick and Keif had had enough, turns out the song is about slavery, and in particular about one sexy black female slave thats sold off.....Mick says if he wrote the song today he would censor himself...well you wouldnt have much choice would you?

So hard for me to have an opinion on it.(depending if your the employer or employee)

I must say he gets applause from me actually having a baby out of the playing season,smarter than most players these days but he also knew where his employment was at the time presuming the child was planned.

I think if your contracted and getting traded its for a player and or picks....Restricted free agency should be scrapped,  father and son....one per club per year, the draft should not be compromised, your draft order is where you finished after the home and away...

 

Trading future picks is fine  but limited to 2 ys head example can only trade one future 1st and one future second in a two year period....

 

Compensation for loosing players is bullocks....

 

And further more though id fill my rocket up this afternoon....98 unleaded has hit the magic $2 mark....$2.04, will monitor the app gents.......

For memory bought in january 2018 but made in november 2017,paid 720,000 cash.

You could sell private and get more if you want the hassell.

hahaha, well im likely to order it in white.....of course they want more for white cars there where here its fairly standard and stocked to the max when you walk into a yard, i of course like white but the bronze D-Max i like too....there colour range is a bit poor so its white or bronze but seeing in person and how long i have to wait will be a factor too....

 

I will shop the moment i arrive but not order untill i have that hot little visa in hand....i would go Hilux just cause i trust Toyota but the cameras all round won me over and there on the entire range, in particular a bike or car on your blind spot shows up as a warning light on your side mirror, then lane asset, automatic braking in cruise control etc the tech on its out of this world....Dont need 4WD but i still might get, and the ute bit with a roller cover, i will start in BKK but i might move next door too Will....so the ute would be good to throw my stuff in the back and take off....hahaha...

 

Used car prices in Thailand are over the top, so buying new and running it into the ground seem the order of the day....but i did want apple car play, the phone is more forgiving when typing an address into it...have sat navigation on my VW and its got a mind of its own....like it wants and expects you to follow its path and keeps directing you back at least in the once i used it where google will just redesign your route if you miss a street....

 

Anyway i expect to do a lot of adventuring once im there in the past ive been tied to the same old places.....

Yes i thought about that, where i stay in BKK is high ground and escaped the BKK floods and has under cover parking too....not to forget one of the cleaners is cute...

26 degrees in Melbourne today.....Lockdown officially ends midnight tonight.....hallelujah.....praise be to the one up high....Demon City is the most lockdown city in the world....last lockdown might have went for 80 days, something like that, total days in lockdown is close to 300.....not i lie about that men.....

 

70% with the jab and by Melbourne Cup 80%, Morrison says we can leave....the country....but getting back in is the $64 question....and then where can we go? and then why would you want to go if half the planet is shut up shop like a ghost town.....second quarter of 2022 should see  normalisation.....

 

Took the black with blue trim here and there including helmet EBike for a spin to day......looking something like what a Port supporter would ride i had the Demons premiership pennants fluttering off all four ariels......not to mention all 23 winning flag players stickers attached to the battery pack....it lifted it a bit.....i think.......nahhhh just kidding but it was in my mind....when i bought the EBike just before corvid hit you could choose any brand and any style in any colour as long as it was mat or gloss black.....yes one color.....i dont like black unless im wearing it and women look better in black than i do....when i asked why don't you have white bikes i knew i had stumped him.....he didn't have a good answer to why they only stocked black in all styles, reminds me of some African band Orchestra Baobab, LP was called "Specialist in All Styles" bit raw, and you can see where Latin music evolved from, check it out if you want something different......of course i have a few of there CDs. Freedom in Demon land at 6 pm today....ya ya ya.......already with some liberties means shops will open in time for xmas spending spree, just over 18 months of rolling lockdowns with 9 months locked up tighter than grannies piggy bank......

 

2000$ worth of twenty dollar bills will be spent soon on a new iPhone.....in anticipation of holding the precious cargo in hot little hands i bought some iPhone pro max covers online....I thought we were getting the news that they cant ship stuff to us due to a shortage of containers etc...well the wallet and 2 plastic/silicon covers arrived within 3 to 4 weeks from the normal 8 to 10 weeks pre corvid.....ho why did i buy 3 covers? i have 13 for my XR, its like a belt men....or shoes....i changed covers every week to freshen up the look men.....im still single you know...apperance is everything, well price gouging is going on in the land of milk and honey and excuses over shipping but hey i bought a few things and there all arriving in record time....a cheap smart watch same...3 weeks....well it looks good....and does the same thing as my fitbit versa....wore them both on a test day.....orded 2 more...differant colours and different styles.....same reason as the iPhone cover cases men.....silly i know but 9 months lockdown will do that to you, but hey, the reason behind it all was i was going to buy a new fitbit versa for 300$ not the top but mid range one....due to my 6 year old fit bit was worn at work and got scratched up a little but it would be hard for someone else to see but i notice it anyway while searching online for a deal i came across these Chinese smart watches on Alixpress and thought what the heck.....buy 3 for 120$ save 180$ and change regular......black and silver, red and an apple copy in dark blue....ho my fitbit is grey band and silver.....im covered.....

 

Will can rest in peace as Mason Cox signed a deal to the end of next season, and in a beat up article in news.com due to it being a rag and off season Demons and Bulldogs end up at the same night club a few days later and some taunting goes on between balcony's real dribble and bait, Max's wife has a child and he describes it as a best on ground effort....
