Roi Et tractor driver injured after sedan embeds itself in the driver’s cabin

A tractor driver has sustained injuries after colliding with a sedan in Roi Et in north-eastern Thailand.

 

Rescue workers headed to the accident scene on Jatura – Patumrat Road in Jatura, Roi Et yesterday.

 

Rescue workers arrived to find a sedan embedded in a tractor off the main road. The tractor driver, 45 year old Poonsin Suebsri, sustained injuries in the incident. He was rushed to hospital.

 

Witnesses says the sedan lost control and collided with the tractor, riding up over the front-left-side tyre and into the cabin. The sedan driver was not injured and has been assisting police with their enquiries.

 

Police are continuing their investigation as to how or why the sedan driver lost control.

Off the main road .! It looks like the car took a running jump at it .. 

Like they need another hazard on the roads ( and fields ) 'ere maybe tractor boys need to up armour the Kubota against low flying motors ..

I have absolutely no answer to this , yes I do ! ,amazing Thailand.

How will they try to blame the tractor driver for this?

Wonder if they will check the past use of her mobile!

A speedy recovery to the brave tractor driver! Let me guess, it was a woman driver, wasn't it?

I'd guess she only had it a third of the time. Roi Et car mechanics know that car well.

Likely to be one of two things: "the driver dozed off", or "the brakes failed". Praying for full recovery for the tractor driver.

Woman driver, 33 yr old.

Her mobile phone fell down.

She bent to pick it up.

Does the rest need more explanation?

 

Stupid as can be.

But don't cry too loud.

Not so uncommon in the "west".
