VIDEO: Alleged thief in Pattaya learns valuable lesson after stealing from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu expert

This is the moment a man discovered he made a massive mistake after allegedly stealing valuables from tourists and expats in Pattaya.

On Wednesday, Andrea Sinyorini, who runs Jomtien Sauna, shared a video on his Facebook page of him putting a man in a choke hold.

It’s alleged the man had been stealing valuables from guests at the sauna.

When Andrea, who is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu expert was aware of the theft, he apprehended the man, keeping him pinned to the ground until the police arrived.

“This is what happen (sic) to bad people stealing from good, honest people under my roof, they get choked and arrested, Andrea said in the Facebook post.

“Don't come to Thailand to break the law and disturb the peace and don't mess with Italians who knows jiujitsu.”

People commenting on the video were full of praise for Andrea, who trains Jiu Jitsu every day at a gym in Pattaya.

In another update, Andrea wrote:

“The cops arrested him, took him to police station and the money stolen was returned. Sadly,I think the thief is free now but I don't care,I focus on positives,I'll be off training with a super black belt champion from Brazil in 10 minutes, then I'll see my customers in sauna and my students in my gym, gonna be a great day,I have a beautiful family and I thank you all for the support, thank you”

At the time of publishing the video had been shared over 1,000 times and had more than 270,000 views.

The choke hold was less painful than reading that.

Indeed way back when Shakespeare described such gayity as the Italian problem.

As many as 15% of Brazilians may have Italian ancestry:

Italian Brazilians - Wikipedia

"A 1999 survey..............indicated that 10.5% of Brazilian respondents claimed to have Italian ancestry; hence they would make up around 20 million descendants in a national population of 200 million"

"According to the Italian government, there are 31 million Brazilians of Italian descent"

So possibly he describes himself as "Italian-Brazilian", in a similar fashion to people in the USA who describe themselves as Italian-Americans.

(Or Irish/German/Swedish/Japanese/Chinese/African/Mexican........-Americans)

I concur. I’ve trained in both disciplines for over 30 years. It’s only a matter of time before the boxer goes to sleep. Obviously the stand up routine is needed for multiple assailants. (Run like f#+k).

well done, Andrea, even if the photo is staged.   i do believe that concrete therapy was the best treatment in this case.

well done man. hope the thai laws will also deal with guy severely and swiftly; otherwise he will soon be back on his ugly circuit.

it said he was released buy the police - caught a Thai stealing from us once and the cops did f-all.

That's exactly why I decided not to become a thief !  ????

upon further examination , it appears that the "thief"  is very fit,  not like the thieves i've known.  perhaps this is an attempt by the sauna owner to get new customers by making it appear that they and their belongings are safe at his establishment.

This is fake. They're boyfriends. Look at around 0:27 sec. He says I'm going to choke you again. Ready? The Thai bloke nods yes. Also there is no struggle at all when the choke lock is released.

Very observant and quite possibly correct but sooooo cynical.

Keep an eye out for jiujitsu expert falls in mysterious circumstances ????
