A 56-year-old Swiss national, wanted by Interpol and facing arrest warrant in Brazil for attempted murder, was arrested at his Thai wife’s home in Chiang Mai’s Saraphi district, Immigration Police chief Lt-General Sompong Chingduang told the press on August 22.

He said Brazilian police had contacted their Thai counterparts to help find the man and have him extradited to face prosecution. The man identified by Thai police only as Roger (last name withheld) faces the allegation of assaulting the victim at a bar on March 28, 2004, and then, at the second scene in a house, hitting the victim with a wooden chair and then throwing the unconscious victim out of a window. This resulted in the victim sustaining serious spinal injuries, triggering partial paralysis.

Investigators found that the suspect last entered Thailand on July 19 and has been living with his Thai wife in a housing estate in Chiang Mai. Police have revoked the man’s visa and are holding him in detention pending extradition.

If the Thai police can do that for Brazil, why can't they get "Boss" back to face the charges of killing a Police Sgt?

Did his wife file a TM30?? ????

A criminal mastermind. No way they would ever consider that he might be hiding out with his wife.

I wonder who paid for the huge billboard and the arrowed art work posted with Switzerland in its midst.

Regretfully I missed the billboard with the car of Vorayuth Yoovidhya. That particular map must have featured the United Kingdom and, with the help of English TV stations, the arrow art work must have pointed to the present location, where this little honey pop is hiding for years ......

Congratulations to the RTP for nailing down the Swiss bloke, keep up the good work - I am sure TM30 helped enormously; continue now also with all those fugitives of your own country now - thank you!

There is no red notice at the Interpol for the boss. It was there for two weeks and then disappeared. Besides it can only be removed by the Thai police or the superior government institution.

Thailand seem to do quite well capturing criminals for other counties; pity they can't perform at the same level for home games.
