http://www.thansettakij.com/content/407789, all 15" MacBookPro Retinas from 2015-2018 are now banned on Thai Airways flights.  According to the article, they can be neither carried on not checked in baggage due to the known potential battery explosion issues cited by Apple.  Scary stuff!
