A joint police operation has resulted in the arrest of a 22 year old Thai woman who stole 90,000 baht worth of gold jewelry from a Prachinburi gold shop on Saturday.

She offered a long list of excuses for what she had done.

Following the snatch and run from the Mae Luan shop Sunisa Thetsa drove her Toyota Soluna to Mae Phim Cape in Rayong where she left her car by the beach.

Police found the car and intensified the search for her in the area and beyond.

She had already sold the gold in her hometown in Chacherngsao.

She then took a bus back to Bangkok then further transport to a friend's house in the Keng Hang Maew area of Chantaburi where police were staking out a property.

She was finally arrested at 5 am on Monday.

She told investigators that she had not meant to do it, it was a spur of the moment thing. She had been going to see her mother in Prachinburi when she got the idea.

She saw the shop and just went in - there was no forethought. She needed the money, it was the only way out.

Thai Rath reported that she needed money after squandering handouts from her husband on online Baccarat.

She also needed cash to continue paying into a Ponzi scheme.

Now she faces charges of snatch theft using a conveyance to flee arrest.

Obviously it wasn't a golden string of excuses

Dumb and dumber. And typical. Not willing to accept blame for a problem she created. Look within honey. Therein lies the source of all of your problems in life. Introspection. Responsibility. Reflection. Remorse. Normal, healthy people engage in those practices. Though not many here in the LOS. Denial and deflection are far more common. Face is so weak!

Another wife that try to save the family financials because a stupid husband, and be arrested.

Arrest that idiot husband.
