I was sitting in a Chalong restaurant eating when an extremely attractive woman jumped up and started screaming. There were no other customers in the restaurant and she jumped on me, hugged me and kissed me on my lips.

It seems she won the lottery for a sum of 40 thousand baht.

In my excitement I forgot to ask her for her phone number.

And here I thought I was a 'handsum man.'

SHe has probably put in about 160k baht over the years.

In the least bad way i can put it, Thais somehow seem to forget the initial investments when it comes to these lottery "winnings".

Better check your valuables again to see whether any items is missing.

Demerit points for that laxity. More for not slipping her the tongue, even more for not copping a good feel...

One of my best mates said the very same thing,

What's the name of the restaurant...I'll give her another 40,000 for a kiss on the lips from a "very attractive lady".

They forget the investments when they sell the rice too!

Nah, I would have been impressed if she had invited you back to her place for a quickie. Then you really would have to be hansum man.

Attention seeking ladyboy perhaps?

Gratuitius Thai bashing once again.

This is different to exactly EVERY lottery in the Western World how?

Of course, we don't have a problem with gambling in the West.  Oh no.  Just those stupid Thais.

Pulublub, I don't think he meant just Thais. Most lottery players lose more than they win. Happens everywhere.

I have always considered lotteries to be a special tax on the mathematically challenged.

My wife thinks I'm a god. Woke up 1 morning, told her I had a dream and remembered some numbers, found 20 baht outside 7-11 on the way to work, bought 2 tickets with those numbers and 2 days later the last 2 matched for 4,000 baht. :wai:

She forgot all about the previous 300+ tickets I've bought for her that ALMOST won. ????
