The guy has all kinds of nonsense heading his way.

 

If he doesn't have big money to get the charges reduced, he can be up on importation of class A drugs according to Thai law.

 

Also, possession with intent to supply class A drugs and a host of other charges. Silly man.

 

It's no good posters showing links and promoting the benefits of Ecstasy, it's Class A or Class 1, drugs in Thailand.

 

Cocaine carries less of a sentence or it did, as it was category B, or Class 2 offense back in the day, unless the law has changed and I cannot be bothered researching it.

 

Either way the police get the reward, either he coughs up the cash big time or he goes to jail for a long time and the cops get a promotion for ' doing their duty '  as the good, honest, boys in brown that they are.

 

A life ruined and two other lives put into hardship because of stupidity.

Can't be sure about Thailand, but in most countries when drugs are found in the post they work a sting operation to see who collects the package. This provides proof of ownership. Not so easy to set someone up this way.

 

I'm not sure why local dealers would use mail from Europe to set someone up as another poster suggested.
