A Kuwaiti man was beaten during a robbery in Pattaya during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to the victim’s friend, the Kuwaiti man was set upon by three Thai men opposite the entrance to Soi 7.

The men stole robbed the Kuwaiti man of his smartphone, watch and some money.

The men beat the Kuwaiti man causing serious injuries to his face and body.

The injured man and his friend sought help from a nearby bar who called the police at approximately 3.30am.

Rescue workers then gave the man first aid at the scene.

Police later found a group of males drinking on the beach who when questioned denied any involvement in the assault and robbery.

However, officers found the victim’s phone in sand close to where the men were drinking.

What a wonderful family friendly resort town!

Yes unfortunately the PAttaya beach is becomming month after month

a permanent residence for a bunch of junkies, homeless, drunkards

and others skanks. It's a disgusting show every day and night and of

course all these nice people urinate and poo on the beach.

And now come the time of the insecurity, which is a very big issue for

the destination because the relative absence of deliquency is one of the

last advantage of the country for a tourist,

I hope the authorities will finally take a serious look at this problem

rather than harassing the poors girls who try to do few bahts working here.

Cowards lifestyle? the Kuwaiti man was set upon by three Thai men , never one on one.

If there would be only one robber, but an armed one, you would complain too, that it´s unfair. But that´s how a robbery works: be more, stronger or better armed as your victim.

No value judgment, just personal observation and opinion

Was in Pattaya once about 15 years ago, was not very impressed. never went there again and never will.

The beach was dirty and unimpressive, there were a lot of bars , some street performers. , on walking street. I remember shops for tourists with Indians trying to sell me a suit and rolex watches. Not my scene

Don't know what it is like now

I can see how something like that  could happen there.

Well this is what happens when you beat up tourists you only get a 500baht fine and a wai. The further the economy suffers through the lack of spending tourists the more this will occur. I was shocked not to read "more to this story" or "he must have done something wrong" or the one I really like "I've lived here for 20 years and never happened to me" yep where are use?

There are certain nearby countries where it is the norm to do your toilet requirements anywhere handy, even in the middle of the street, and guess what, people from these countries are swarming to Pattaya right now, where amazingly, they believe themselves to be the superior race !!!
