Just last year I discovered that there is a trouser moth in my wardrobe , they eat the tops of trousers and jeans.  All my below the waist garments were 34 "  now they don't fit anymore .I went to my local walking street and bought a fine pair of trousers size 36" , they will fit .....soon.

Beware the Trouser Moth.

Beware  more of the trouser  snake!!

Depends on the shirt....If a Thai style untucked I usually don't wear a belt....If the shirt is tucked in I'll wear a belt that complements/coordinates the colors I'm wearing.....

I'm not big on wearing belts, but have a good selection to choose from - including a nice Tony Lama belt with a couple of cowboy style buckles (never have worn here).....

I had an amusing incident a while back when flying down to Bangkok for the day. I'd lost a bit of weight and my shorts were rather loose. So when it came to security and was asked to remove my belt, I had to walk throught the detector holding then up.

Then came the dilemmma bit, I was asked by the (female) security person to hold out my arms for the magic wand bit. Big dilemma, no underwear!

I managed to talk my way out of it! ????

So, there you have my "belt" life story..  ????????

You must wear different type of trousers than any on mine...  When I lose weight the trousers are 4" + to big so fall down.

I wear a belt sometimes depends what I need it for.

I wear one so I can hook free plastic bag and walk around my house filling them with garbage.

Since my ass has migrated to my waist, if I dont wear one, my pants fall off.

Used belts for years, to keep the 501 up and the boots gloam.

Then uses braces for a while. But once a string hit one of my eyes.

It was belt all again.

Then stopped again the trousers shrunk so the need for a belt was gone

And started again as the elastan wore out

And it will be useful one of these days

some of us know how we carried our books

Clicked ' To limit the stress on the buttons of the above item of clothing.

In fact it is to keep the button under the belt from poppin'

Just wondering if there is a silly season on TV.

Many whom I see today are beltless and the crotch is close to the knees. The rear of the underwear is in full view, the rear of the jeans below the underwear.

NOT a pretty site.

There are ways to avoid that.

To keep my trousers up. Most trousers fit just fine, but one or two are just a little too wide. If my trousers become a tight fit it's a sign that I should watch what I eat a bit more. Haven't changed size in years.

Because I always wear jeans and jeans just don't look right without a buckle at the front.

Curiously, I find that a simple belt also gives back support. Strap on my jeans and tighten the belt and I can feel my back relax. Probably psychosomatic rather than anything else.

That poll would look like:

  • me? never  90%
  • yeah who don't 5%
  • none of your f business 4%
  • other 1%

90% are liars.

draw !

That would be charicaturists

I wear trousers, long ones with four zipped pockets, and have a tie up cord to hold them up, having no gut it is just perfect, although I wear thicker trousers on motorbike road trips which require a belt, and occasionally denims.
