    Openly showing what this government thinks of us.

  • So much wrong with what just came out of this little man's mouth. That was extremely racist and xenophobic. Very ugly to see a person of his stature in the government talking like this.    I

  • So can we file defamation charges against him now or does it only work the other way around? ????‍♂️

did you not read the advise of the WHO? I believe it is you who maybe ignorant and naive

Who is WHO?! I think in the meantime everyone should have understood that in respect of the Corona virus we are not talking about a cold or a runny nose. We need to stop it as soon as possible and not lean back and watch what will happen. I see the proactive stance of the Thai government as a positive approach. Of course it is free to you to say "Don't worry". Let it be your personal experience and don't blame others.

This place is becoming a BIGGER joke everyday.

The man is just an a++e, spouting off about face masks, while his is below his chin, sputtering mist over everyone in front of him.

Yeah, but he's Thai, so it don't matter one iota.

Bravo! :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Once again a Thai government minister has proven how little he understands about the matters that have been entrusted to him.

Prime minister practically constantly stumbling from one mud pool into the next one.

Finance minister spewing nonsense.

Tourism minister grasping at straws.

And now the public health minister sprays idiotic remarks... and actually plain threats.

Even the WHO says it's not compulsory to wear surgical face masks - because they in fact provide very limited protection. They are NOT designed to keep viruses at bay. Never were.

And what is the good minister going to do with the MILLIONS of locals who are not wearing masks? Kick them out also?

This news article MUST make the rounds in western countries. Let future visitors know about the utter contempt the Thai government has for them. Perhaps it would serve as a valuable lesson to these idiots in power if the tourist streams from Europe would dry up as well.

But then again, by tomorrow this twit of a minister will sheepishly announce (not by himself but through a spokesperson, of course) that it was all a "misunderstanding."

I think I must be. I went to Central Festival without a mask and am still alive.

Obviously immortal.

Some Farangs really don't understand the problem. It can take up to 2 weeks to show any symptoms. And you write that you just came back from Central Festival without a mask and are still alive. I am afraid the health Minister is correct,..

maybe he owns the company that manufacturers face masks

This man is one of the top men helping run this country. God help Thailand.

Still there would have to be a god and until today we still know nothing about him or her or it ... ..

And to return to the subject that concerns this gentleman;

all he has to do is go to Chiang Mai downtown;

there , he will see a lot of farang and chinese people  who do not wear any mask ..
As for me, I don't wear them for a lot of reasons, the main one being that I wear glasses;
the mask + glasses = buzzing on them so I see nothing when I drive;
you will answer me that it is the case of many Thai drivers even without mask.:crazy:
and then I don't really live in Thailand; here is isaan,

Nobody in the village wear a mask ...

By now everyone should have understood that wearing face masks will NOT stop the coronavirus.

The virus is airborne. It will enter trough your eyes. If it does not it will attach to the outside of your face maks. If you take your facemask back to your house, and got in contact with the virus before that, the virus will survive for at least 4 days on the outside of your mask.

If you touch the outside of the mask with your finger and then your face you will die from coronavirus.

The virus also survives for 4 days on any plastic, metal, wood and other surfaces, so be sure to be wearing gloves as well when you wear that chic face mask.

Just some friendly advice from a stupid Farang.

I know that WHO stands for this. But they are all governed by governments WHO want to use them for their benefit - this is my opinion.

Any ‘farangs’ who do not wear face masks should be kicked out of the country, that’s according to Thailand’s health minister, Anutin Charnvirakul.

Speaking on Friday as he, along with other officials, handed out government issue face masks at BTS Siam, Mr Anutin said that those who refuse to wear masks “need to be kicked out of Thailand”.

The minister said that farangs who refuse to wear masks “don’t care about the big picture” and “they don’t have any consideration to the situation”.

Pesky foreigners...if only you weren't so desperate for their money.

Mr Anutin you stupid ill informed racist little man. Doing your bit for international relations, not!

Unbelievable choice of words. I think Thailand is heading for a meltdown.

Now the Government has found an excuse to throw us out of the

country, maybe the next announcement from the Government will

be, phone the tip line,for Farangs not wearing masks,and a smart

car will be around to pick them up.

In fact they ARE the vicious virus that has infected this country since times immemorial.

I think it is not easy for the Thai government what to do. Sure they could stop even any travel to Thailand. But it would mean severe consequences for the country. Who wants to be responsible for this?

I wish it would happen. But I fear that after the virus is history there will be business as usual.
Anyway, I just started to think about cancelling my november trip to the LOR (land of racism).

you know who will be blamed if there is a massive outbreak in Thailand - he thinks "not him"

Oh please don't even joke about it.

With the way the health (?) minister thinks, I can see it happening. Will they get payment for grassing us up too?

easier to blame farang than to actually really try to stop the spread then?

Of course it is.
The farang is ALWAYS the culprit.
