A Night in the Thai Police Station
So here we have it. A kinship has formed on this thread. Two fellow perpetual repeat offenders cheering each other on for having escaped getting caught for years. And admitting that saving money on taxi fees was a major motivating factor. You're both a couple of low-life idiots. -

China warns ,don’t appease trump
So, according to you, anything that China does is a proof of weakness? As you repeatedly ignore, among other things, China provides many crucial inputs to manufactured goods. You still seem to be clinging to the belief that the buyer has the advantage. But that only works if there are multiple sellers with enough goods to supply demand. Given China's predominance in manufacturing, without them, those goods won't be available either at all or in sufficient quantity. Funny, you cited Indonesia as one of the countries that had imposed big tariffs on China. What you didn't note was that an earlier much bigger blanket embargo on Chinese goods had to be rescinded because manufacturers couldn't produce goods without those inputs from China. A huge industrial ecosystem has been developed in China. It can't be replaced easily. What happens when manufacturers start coming up against it? -

Report Outrage in Hat Yai over Nude Photos at Sacred Sites Sparks Investigation
Am no prude but this is disgusting. By the skin coloring I am assuming this was done by tourists. Such activities go well beyond reason, totally ignoring the cultural values of Thailand as it would be in many other countries. Fine, significant jail time and permanent ban from ever entering Thailand again would be appropriate. -

Markets Surge on Hopes of U.S.-China Trade Breakthrough
Yes it is. Always good to see positive news. "Tuesday's rally helped the markets recoup much of those losses. The Dow Jones Industrial Average leapt by 1,016 points, a gain of 2.66 percent. The NASDAQ, driven by strength in the technology sector, rose 429 points, or 2.71 percent. The S&P 500 also rebounded, climbing 2.5 percent." Its just a case of fingers crossed that a deal will be done.
