Chatuchak wildlife market

Featured Replies

Being shared far and wide!

Alarming undercover footage has revealed how Chatuchak is still selling 'high-risk' wildlife in Bangkok.

Some of the comments (with thousands of likes) call for all flights to be stopped to/from Thailand

money matters, as long as there is profit to be made they wont change a thing, lets see if the govt will do the right thing here and shut it down but very doubtful

Very good post. This is Thailand's shame and yes indeed Thailand should be publicly held accountable. It was supposed to have been stopped long ago. The government  must act.

Unfortunately, it requires public and international shaming for it to happen.

Chatuchak has been selling all kinds of Animals for Decades now.

Some are Wild, some endangered and some  ... well, of the pet kind.

The one thing that is certain, is that this practice aint gonna stop any time soon.

How's the slightly overweight, well connected guy who shot and ate the black panther getting along these days?

Virus don't discriminate against animals of the same kind. What's the difference between eating beef versus wild animals  which are mammals? They are all mammals.

Best is to become a vegetarian.

Those vendors are not stupid, the really endangered animals are not for show, you'll have to ask vendors about it and they'll show you the way...
