Recommended dentist in Pattaya please

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I created a similar topic to this a year ago but cannot find it so I'm creating another one.

Can anyone please recommend a good dentist in Pattaya.

I've had a gold crown become detached - I have the crown and basically need to get it re-fixed to the tooth.

Last time I waited until I got back to UK and went to my regular dentist but this time I'm here for another 3 weeks and would rather not wait.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sounds like a simple fix... turn off Beach Road onto Klang.

First small alley on the right, just before Ali Baba, there is a huge tooth on a sign on the corner. Turn right, next door to Chalet Suisse on the left. Nice lady dentist.

Thanks @jacko45k You don't happen to know the name of the dentist or practice, do you?

Another poster has recommended Napaporn Dental Clinic on Soi 7 / Klang - anyone else have any experience of this one?

I just want to get the best possible treatment  in the shortest time and personal recommendations are usually best - thanks for the response so far

Shortest time, you have been procrastinating since Tuesday night!

It surely is simply having a crown cemented back on?

Not procrastinating as I'm booked into Napaporn  today - the earliest I could get an appointment with someone RECOMMENDED

And yes it is simple but still needs skill.

Going to try and get into Dr Warin before the appointment - see #11

I used the dentist in Central Mall a few years back. It wasn’t cheap but the lady knew what she was doing and did a very good job.

Dr Cherry yes she is fine...but you pay a premium because of her location......6 years ago she quoted me 210,000 baht for work that was eventually done by Warin for 160,000 baht...Warin for quality and price cannot be beaten in Pattaya IMHO.....that,s why you have to wait unfortunately.

I remember trying to get an appointment with Warin some years ago... it seemed difficult and I cancelled when I found out the appointment was actually not with him but another in the clinic.

I do hope you don't just fail to turn up for Napaporn.

I am in the middle of a "rebuild" from her.  Don't have anything in Thailand to compare to, but compared to the States it has been inexpensive. Less than a year old so can't speak to durability.

She did extraction and prep for 4 implants and placed 5 crowns in visits spread over 1 week, in the US would have been stretched over months. Zero problems so far (as expected, or maybe as hoped) work was done in October 2019.  I can't claim "best in dentist in Pattaya", how could you know that?  But seems very competent.  "Dentist at the Beach" in Central Festival.

So, as @petermik suggested, I went to Dr Warin's office at about 10 AM and waited despite not having an appointment. Confirmed with the receptionist that I would be seeing Dr Warin in person.

After about 40 minutes, he ushered me into the surgery, and refitted my crown and I would say very efficiently. Cautioned me not to eat for 1 hour  (I left it 3 and just had soup)

Cost 500 Baht - Napaporn had quoted me 1500!

As soon as I left, I called Napaporn to cancel - only 90 minutes before my appointment but, no I didn't just not show.

Thanks to all for your advice - I think I have joined Dr Warin's admirers. ????

Yes, I might agree she is not the cheapest, and 1500 just to glue something back in seems a lot. She employs quite a staff of young ladies.
