We shan't notice any difference in our village. It's very rare for anyone to be around beyond 8 or 9 pm anyway.

Shows is the key word. As opposed to ACTUAL.

I listened to a guy on TV yesterday about incorrect numbers (not only in Thailand.)

One thing he said, a slight positive ... with the number of death people being the same.

And a much higher infection rate, that would put the death rate vs infection rate much lower as it is today.

Don't know, maybe some truth in it ... not sure how much this matters.

I think it should be 8pm the other night a group of Farang outside 7/11 drinking the sauce looked like a few Russians

No doubt it's incidents  like this that have brought about the alcohol sales bans that are being introduced around the country.

I sometimes have to do a beer-run after 10pm. Ironically, that's always seemed safer to me as there's fewer ppl about. Now I'll have to go out earlier, when there's lots of other folk around, to stock up.

6:30pm to 6:30am curfew would be more realistic. Or better still, impose house 24/7 house curfew with very few exceptions as in the UK (key workers with ID etc.). Here in Hua Hin it's surprising to see so many locals out and about in the areas such as Chom Sim, Bon Kai, Hin Lek Fai etc. but taking a drive by The Hilton this afternoon it was a ghost town.

Quite stringent measures for a Country that shows so few cases ????

Would it be better to wait until they have more, or are you insinuating something else? You know, You might be right, but maybe they also know they can´t test all and are aware of that it´s in reality more cases out there. Maybe look at it as a positive thing instead, but I bet that never crossed your mind.

What is it you need to buy between 22.00 to 04.00? Are you cheating on your GF?

I am sure the TAT can come up with some fantastic slogan, like: Thailand, the land of clean and empty beaches.

..which you can only dream of, because you can't get there..

100+ new every day, not so few, better safe than underestimate repeating mistakes of others.

It isn't doubling every 2-3 days, be thankful for that.

yes .. agree. The government has raised the bar substantially on this one.
