Recommendations for brand and size of water pump

Featured Replies

I finally got fed up with the irregular supply of water from the nearby village. I had a well drilled with   a 3" submersible pump completed on Tuesday. I'm now doing the plumbing and tank installation. Anyone have any recommendations for what brand and size of the pump I should use for a 1 story home to supply the electric shower heater, washing machine, and outdoor spigots. The shower and washer will be within 4 meters and the spigots under 25 meters from the pump. I doubt that any 2 outlets will ever be in use at the same time.  Thanks

Ok your info.

You need a 'Constant Pressure Pump'.

Such as the Hitachi GX series WM P200  or  Mitsubishi EP 205.

I have used both of these models with great success.

For one floor these are ample size and will go for years. price around 5,500 baht.

##remember to read the instructions on 'priming' when you install##.

i dont like the hitchi pumps, i have 2. they are noisy and some what trouble some.

buy a multistage pump & a pressure switch, ideally with a large pressurized tank. google Shimge

I'm in the same boat - fitting a tank and pump. My friend has a Hitachi XS Series constant pressure pump that's pretty quiet and he's happy with it. Does anyone know how the GX series differs from the XS and why I might choose one over the other?  I have googled this to death and just can't get an answer...
