say you lose 3 points is there a time period to get them back or do you have to wait and lose the lot to get back to 12 ?any one know, also what happens when some else is driving your car and gets a camera offence i ask because car is in wife name she is here with me in oz but daughter & boyfriend use car.

Unfortunately, you can’t go by a newspaper article to determine whether something is law. The first sentence of the piece says ‘tentative’. Look it up...

It will not have much effect.  You will just be given the chance to pay up front to avoid getting points.

I got a speeding ticket from a camera and they went after my mother in law because she is the owner of the truck. I got nothing and she got the points even though she doesn't even have a license.

And the driving license app I had on my phone has stopped working.

So now I can drive rat-arsed three times before I get banned for 90 days, then Do it Again.

Hows the drink driving on that... for a 4 pointer what is 200mg per ml in normal speak.... like 0.05 ?

But when something really has been enacted in law, you can go by that.  The system is in effect.

I appreciated the reply but for such an important issue I would like to have the information verified by different sources.

So what you are saying is there is a real point system in action? You are the first one I have heard of something happening. and on the other end I had stated on the forum that they will get the wrong ones and it is all just a big scam and joke.
