What a joke.Nakhon Phanom has had 1 case 3 weeks ago and the Governor has banned alcohol sales to the 15th. Alot of people here are <deleted> off about it according to social media.

Do these governors get elected, probarbly not.

In Au every pull up generally involves breath test. It's compulsory to show licence etc. On top of that it's just an on the spot fine.

Only WA issue an on the spot fine for low range (0.05 to 0.079), 0.08 and up its automatic licence suspension.

Every other state and Territory has a mandatory licence suspension......... as well as a fine.

Yes very true. My son recently had breath test and was in "high range" 0.21

Result was licence cancelled 12 month and then will need to have interlock device on car. Very expensive exercise. BTW his first alcohol driving offence with 10yr experience. No mucking about in Au.
