Man arrested for allegedly raping stepdaughter, 9

A 46-year-old man was arrested in Lampang province on Thursday (June 11) for allegedly raping his nine-year-old stepdaughter.

 

Police at Soongmen Station arrested Ake (assumed name) at a savings cooperative office in Lampang province following an arrest warrant issued by Phrae Provincial Court.

 

The biological father of the girl filed a complaint against Ake at Soongmen Police Station on June 5, saying his daughter had told him that Ake had raped her. He reportedly told police that he divorced his wife in 2018 and let the girl stay with her mother, who later married Ake. “My daughter called me on June 5, crying, and saying that she was raped by her stepfather at her mother’s house in Soongmen district, so I filed a complaint against him,” he added.

 

 

The girl reportedly told officials that the suspect had allegedly tried to rape her many times since December 2019 but failed until he succeeded in January. She tried seeking help from others but no one believed so she decided to call her father eventually. The girl was sent to Soongmen Hospital for detailed physical examination and officials are now awaiting the results.

 

After the arrest the suspect was brought to Soongmen station for interrogation. He denied the charge and refused to give any information until the trial.

 

His wife and relatives have already filed for his bail.

Despicable. Justice would be to cut the entire 2 inches off of his tool so he can never use it again.

In all fairness, with a lot of Thai ex men being jealous of new husbands and lovers, it is actually not stretching the limits of imagination to come up with another scenario involving a fame up.

 

That said, if he did do it, two bricks is my solution

Hang him on his goodies until he drops down, then put him in jail.

However the mother? What kind of mother bails out her husband doing such a thing?

As a father i would have splashed the tiny brain of the molester.

Stretching mine to imagine a "fame up."

9 year old girls making up a rape story is extremly rare, medical examination should provide the evidence to convict. Mrs best mates husband was a teacher, he got 20 years for raping two students the same age 4 years ago, so they don't always get away with a wai a a pay off.

Unfortunately this is not a uniquely Thai problem although they do appear to have more than their fair share of useless pieces of S#!t.

Shame on anyone committing horrendous crimes against defenceless children. 

Everyone is quick to assume that this low life is guilty and most of the suggested punishments do befit the crime but let's wait and see if it wasn't just a fabricated story by the ex.

She told her mother but her own mother didn't believe her?

Never let facts get in the way of good old fashioned prejudice. He may well be guilty, but the reverse could also be true. 

If he is guilty, which seems likely, then he should be executed.

if proven true. human card denied !!

If my daughter had rang me with that info, i would have gone straight to her.

Having said that these child rapes now seem to be happening on an almost daily basis.

agree, typical knee jerk 'he must be guilty' response here. he may be guilty, but equally he may not be, imagine being accused of such a crime, having it publicised, and being innocent.

Probably got together with the mother in the first place because she came with the added advantage of having a young virgin to rape. You always know the intention by the result.

Heartbreaking and criminal. How can such people live with themselves? This child will have emotional scars for the rest of her life. God help us.
