Inside the car were Prajuab, 56, and Nikorn, 60, who were taken to Roi-Et hospital where they later died.

The media mentioned continuous heavy rain in their headline as contributing to the accident.

Police are investigating.

More than likely he just failed to adjust his driving style to meet the wet. slippery conditions.

I was driving home Tuesday night from Bang Bo on the Bangna expressway in the rain.  Idiots were going 120+ kph, weaving in and out of traffic, speeding, them slamming on their brakes.  All either "hot" cars or pickup trucks.  They just have no idea how to drive in the rain.

It's surprising motor insurance here is so cheap as there are so many incidents like this where Thais write off their 1 million + baht cars.

The story should read as,

Wayward Pajero kills 2 as it did not like to be out in a storm

Another fairy story

Why not put the blame on the loon behind the wheel

So the rain caused it ... ?

What do you think caused it?

It uses more fuel when you do that! Same as not turning on their lights - same mentality. ????

Thankfully, they didn't hit anyone else.

Driving like a massive wang is my guess

Question. Don't Pajero's have any Air bags.??? Second snap shows drivers side and I cant see any drivers or side Airbags.

I see it at unsafe speed for the conditions present.  Not drivng appropriately and probably not paying attention

I thought insurance for the Thais was a optional extra and was therefore never purchased.

Hmm, seeing as they both died, I think a bypass is pretty superfluous.

Can you imagine how the insurance companies are defrauding us in other  countries.

We all know without me stating that its not fair to blame the rain.
