Great to hear you have seen the light

i am carnivore (mostly) myself and have lost over 35kg
started on Keto
then moved to carnivore
i now do keto on my cheat days which is usually cream and nuts or avocado
but mostly now i eat Beef, Lamb, salmon, eggs, chicken
and i treat myself with dairy, cheese or cream

never felt better
hunger is a thing of the past as i never spike blood sugar anymore

that Harvey brand may not be so cheap soon, i seen it come in recently
grab it while you can

It's called the Atkins diet. ????

NO it is not
you are a fool to conflate them
they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

an Atkins diet reintroduces carbs after just 2 weeks
which is why you hear idiotic arguments against carnivore
saying "its only good short term"
when fools conflate carnivore with Atkins
as Atkins is useless after 2 weeks as carbs get reintroduced

Don't you find it difficult to digest all that Beef?

I do not think it works for everyone.

But it sure works for me!

I had some issues with diarrhea first week.  Then all fine.

OP, yes there are lots of variations of the low/no carbs diet. And yes it does work for rapid weight loss initially. However, you will find the weight will come back just as quick as soon as you reintroduce carbs back into your diet.

Its not a permanent weight loss solution, it is great for that initial weight loss to get you started and then switch to healthy balanced diet.

why do you need to reintroduce carbs?

(that is atkins btw)

And I will keep monitoring my health, but, as I mentioned, after nearly 3 months all my numbers were better:

Lower blood sugar
lower triglycerides
lower bad choloesterol

higher good cholesterol

etc.

When i say I do a check up, I do the FULL check up.  Including treadmill stress tests and all blood work.  The biggest health check available.  And all was better.

i am agreeing with you
if you check out Dr. Shawn Baker
you will see lots of info from other carnivores and their medical results
all of them see improvements

Well I do not plan to EVER go back.  I only eat other foods when I go on a date or with freidns to eat out.  Othr than that its delicious beef all day all the time.

Good luck with that, you will find there are long term effects from only eating protein, you will die of scurvy, clogged arteries, bowel cancer. Also overtime the weight loss from low carbs tends to fall away.

i tried the same for similar reasons, also buying the beef from makro

made me what to throw up for some reason, and stunk the house out

previously tried it doing pork and fish only (cooked and delivered) and that worked well, kept me off the booze too, but started getting inflammation and all sorts though, probably from the omega 6

difficult to do in Thailand, and doesn't really work long term

again completely false
it is not difficult to do in Thailand
does work long term

your inflammation likely due to something else
sounds like you did not try for long
and your body still trying to recover from alcohol

You better have the doctor check your triglyceride levels as red meat such as Beef, either barbequed or baked will increase this.  Your Cholesterol levels also play a part in heart disease as well.

suddenly everyone is a doctor
defending their sugar addictions

OP has stated his levels have improved
as have mine
as have many other carnivores globally????

inflammation was from too much pork

i really don't think it works long term unless you're a complete hermit

like another poster said, the weight comes back as soon as you stop it

i learnt about it from jordan peterson, and he's not in a good place right now, and hasn't been so for at least a year
