Oz Embassy announced yesterday ,could be good news for leaving tourists and expats wishing to return to Thailand.Cost $1100 au approx. Repat flights for Thais.

It's not only repatriation flights for Thai nationals. It includes every group that meets the requirements to enter Thailand. 

There was another recent announcement that Thai Airlines would be flying from BKK to England to repatriate foreigners and I believe to then bring back Thais wishing to repatriate back to LOS.  Makes sense to use a national company for these flights rather than airlines from other countries for the repatriation flights.

I keep getting emails from Thai air trying to flog me one of those Flights.

That ,s the point I made re expats wishing to return to Thailand. Seems Thai gov is making a concerted effort to get their folk out of Aus in this coming month, looks a good move to me given the resurge
