The Thai Rice Exporters Association and Loom Soom Subdistrict Administrative Organisation handed out over 3,000 bags of rice to villagers in Kanchanaburi's Loom Soom subdistrict on Friday (July 31).

Anek Laothamatas, Action Coalition for Thailand (ACT) Party executive committee chief, presided over the activity, saying he was pleased to relieve the villagers' sufferings from the Covid-19 impact.

"I would like to ask everyone to take care of their health until a Covid-19 medicine or vaccine is found," he said.

He added that as a member of the ruling coalition government, they would put in their best efforts to take care of everyone's health and life.

"Meanwhile, we are ready to cooperate with the government to help economic recovery because the people's quality of life is very important," he added.

"I would like to ask everyone to take care of their health until a Covid-19 medicine or vaccine is found," he said.

NOT organising an event at which hundreds of people are crammed shoulder to shoulder would be a good start.

Those who are interested in taking care of their health would be more interested in whole-grain rice (or brown rice) than white rice which is deficient in nutrients and fiber.

They are expected to survive on rice?

Thai people can gather vegetables along the road home and run their rat traps for protein...do not worry about them...they know how to survive off the land...????
