How can I send and receive in my Gmail window or any other window

@tuta.io messages.?

And not to confuse in the reply  @tuta.io with @Gmail

that could cause  some funny consequences.

How best// to make sure that that does not happen?…

in Gmail (web), open SETTING, See All Setting

on the ribbon bar select ACCOUNTS

look for SEND MAIL AS and select LEARN MORE
