Always check that its turned off BEFORE you plug it in, had some

workers in our house doing repairs and i plugged in their angle grinder

to do a little job, and they had left it turned on, it took off from the bench.

I have no idea.  I just saw one advertised here in the U.S.  The description said Made in Thailand!

Perhaps here:  https://www.ubuy.co.th/en/search/?ref_p=ser_tp&q=walter+grinding+disc+

You saw one advertised.... you have never used them your self ?

FWIW Ubuy sources from USA so will have import tax needing to be paid.. been there done that with Pferd, not doing it again now that I can buy locally.

I haven't.  Pro welders on a forum I frequent recommend Pferd, Klingspor, Walter, Metabo and Norton more than any others.  But it depends on the type (grinding/cutoff/flap) and the particular abrasive (such as zirconia).

I'd almost lost my eyes when such un unbreakable disk shattered and I could feel the wind the parts made around my face.

No mask, no glasses, no nothing.

From that time on, I deeply respect such machines.

And so you should ! Always use those protective Glasses.

There are many " Discs " for use with Angle Grinders

They all have different characteristics, such as Grit size, density, bonding and actual Disc makeup structure, and most important - uses.

A grinding disc is not just a grinding disc.

These Discs are specifically designed to " Wear " and expose fresh new cutting medium when in use.

Its not just the Hot metal that is a danger, and thats what injured the Guy I spoke about in an earlier post - the Grit ( Non magnetic )

It may only be small, but travelling at hyper speed will do a lot of damage

I chose the cheapest from Lazada, 120bht for 25 disks, and am happy with my choice.

They're for cutting 2.5mm (box) steel.

If those Discs suit your needs and are safe in use , then use them by all means.

Just remember that you are not safe at any time when using one of these Angle Grinders
