My point exactly.  There are always going to be people who get sick, pass on a virus, catch a deadly strain because of hereditary risks, and comorbidities.  The population of the earth has always ebbed and flowed because of sickness, or wars, but in the end it still grows.  Even with as inherently dangerous as Covid is, if people would not be selfish and instead wear masks, social distance, not impose there own personal beliefs as to how they do not have to do what they want, and then treat others, as far as personal safety and protection goes, with respect, then maybe we could open the world up and stop destroying lives and economies.  However, there are to many who believe that this will lead to the real world becoming like the Walking Dead with zombie like folks everywhere.  I hate to tell you this people, but there are to many already in Government who are zombies, and who could only care about themselves as well.

Because a person able to get the best medical care and treatment in the world (not available to the general public) was allowed to go 'home' (where he's got doctors on attendance and an attached medical facility, plus a chopper ready to take him back as needed) while pumped with drugs?

Covid-19 was not described as 'killer virus from hell'. The mortality rate is not the issue so much as the rate of infection. That's been covered for months now, kinda hard to believe people still don't get it.

 

And yes, Trump 'happens to be the President of the United States' - which means he gets tested often, so infection can be detected and addressed in early stages. It also means he's got the best medical care and treatment, newest drugs and procedures. These aren't available to the general populace.

 

He was released from hospital but it wasn't made clear what his actual condition is, why he's not being subjected to quarantine as everyone else and what's the follow up treatment regime and prognosis. That Trump supporters celebrate this as clear cut 'proof' of anything is quite out there.

He's got access to frequent checks, best medical treatment, newest drugs - that's not how things are for most people.

 

Unless you're willing to take his word for it, then nothing was 'fended' off. He got pumped full of steroids and sent 'home' (where he's got round the clock medical care available).

 

You've no idea if he's 100% alright, whether he's out of the woods, or if there are side effects involved. You certainly can't extrapolate from one case involving a patient who happens to be POTUS to the rest of the world.

Trump is drugged up, but he didnt really leave the hospital per se. he left one and went to the whitehouse which also is set up like a hospital.
