The issue is an unelected Senate that also needs to be removed as well.  No matter what Parliament votes are on reconciliation and Charter modifications, the current Senate setup is all in Prayut's back pocket.  He stacked the deck when they went into power to ensure that he would remain in power for a very long time, unless another Coup occurred.  However, to ensure a Coup could not occur from within Bangkok the top two military units were put under the command of one specific person who truly is the one that needs modifications made to the powerbase he enjoys. Just my opinion from an outside view looking in.

Senate need give away army members spot's! Or nothing never chance. Only new "head" whit different face come to talk people! Hole senate need fill whit vote's that have given.

They need to set up 30 day Snap elections and open it all up again.  It is all that it should take to get another Government in place.  They do not need to set up election committees to review the election process or who can run for a specific election.  The banning of prior elected officials needs to be looked at, and really viewed as nothing more than Political hit jobs, one side against another.  Almost sounds like back home, except they do not get banned.  If what they did was illegal then they go to jail.  Where else can you be an elected official and still be a convicted felon, yes, my home country.

The junta still has the upper hand because they really hamstrung future forward. Now i read in the BP that they are going to press crimininal chargers against Thananthorn for the loans saying its a gift and broke the rules. A loan is a loan. He made it up as a loan but the courts are against him. I really do hate the junta. The only decent party (and that is why they fear it the PTP they can still use Thaksin as scare tactic but on future forward there was no dirt).

100% in agreement.  The other thing he is facing is called double jeopardy.  He was already stripped of being and MP, then his Party was banned, now they want to push the knife in deeper as they believe he is the root cause of the problems they face with the protestors.  They think that by chopping off the head it will stop.  Sorry to inform Prayut and his cronies that they have climbed into the lions den and there are many more taking the places of those that fall before them.  Then, they also want to take away the 191 million Baht loan and and use it themselves, what depraved individuals the ECC are, also backed by the current government.

What do you mean with Cronies? I have been telling you over and over again. Some in charge are members of the same families that have been around in politics for more than 50 years. He has already passed a law to absolve himself and all of his cabinet, for all and any mistakes that they may have made while in office, and of course he also had more legislation passed to ensure he could stay in office for 20 years and enjoy the spoils of being a dictator/coup leader. I think he is more in line with Fidel Castro now.
