Occasionally there are stars whose passing genuinely tugs at the heart strings. For me, Sean Connery is one of those. Of course, he will always be remembered for the role of James Bond but my personal favorite movie of his is The Untouchables. R.I.P to a true silver screen legend.

My mother took me to see Dr. No at the local cinema in Crystal Palace when I was twelve.  It was the first movie with "naughty bits" that we'd seen together and I remember she was acutely embarrassed!

A sad loss in a sad year.

Such a lovable admirable person and for me like a Steve McQueen for others. He has been out of play for a bit now, but I will miss him. James Bond was not my favorite movie that I admired him in. Maybe the Rock I liked a lot. All his flicks were ok for me and good to see him.
