     Yes, I was one of the main moaners that Clinton blew away Trump in the popular vote but still lost because of the cursed Electoral College.  All I heard over and over from Republicans was that the Electoral College is legal and it needed to be respected and followed as law.  Now, what are the Republicans doing?  Tearing down voting by mail, also perfectly legal, and trying to get the vote counting of legally cast ballots stopped.  Well, except in Arizona where Trump is trailing--they want every single mail-in vote counted there.  The hypocrisy is beyond the pale.  And, now you have that idiot Hannity calling for a do-over in Pennsylvania.  I don't like the outcome, let's do it over and over until I get the outcome I like.  The mind boggles.  We go deeper into The Twilight Zone.

There's been plenty to complain about. From cosying up to dictatators to handing vast amounts of money to the 1% & corporations to dog whistling racists and extremists. In 4 years he has alienated allies, undermined the rule of law and made a mockery of the constitution. It's been exhausting and I for one will raise a very large glass and celebrate enthusuastically when this stain on America is finally removed from the office he was never equiped to hold.

I am keeping an eye on the results in Georgia.

Approx 15.000 ballots still to be counted and Trump in the lead with only 1.800 votes.

BUT these are mail-in ballots mostly from the Atlanta region (Democratic leaning).

So far Biden has consistently gotten 2 out of  EVERY 3 mail-in votes in Georgia (still looking for the link to that report.)  At that rate a quick math shows that out of the uncounted 15000 votes left he should get 10000, and Trump the remaining 5000. A 5K upset that will take over the 1800 gap. State officials are reluctant to make a call, because any call at this stage would likely mean a call for the new president, and nobody wants to be in the position to do that. So we all will have to wait for every state to finish, ie counting the last vote. (Pensylvania is also in the same predicament.)

Biden has overtaken Trump in Georgia, as per Fox. 1000 votes lead now.

Biden just pulled ahead in Georgia. Hopefully that will make this all a done deal. Which will be a relief.

 

If Biden can win by a decent margin then maybe Trump will accede defeat with quiet, statesmanlike dignity. (Sorry, I’ve been drinking.)

I read somewhere on fivethirtyeight and am too lazy to track it down that even after this count is finished there are still more ballots to be counted including but not limited to military ballots. So I don't know what if anything is projected for those votes or how many there are.

Yes provisional ballots and there are many and they tend to skew Democratic. It is premature to call it but I think Biden will win Georgia. Yes that's a freaking big deal!

I do agree with you, unfortunately it appears more then 63 millions of Americans still believe him... one time he said something about killing somebody in 5th Ave NY and could get away with it, it just shows how intelligent/brain washed Some Americans are, glad I am not one, happy to be European

Yes, winning Georgia would be huge, and totally unexpected (for me).  However I won't allow myself to get too optimistic. 

 

If I remember correctly Georgia will count military ballots that come in on or before November 10, so the count won't be finished before then.  Once it is complete, it's safe to assume there will be a recount.  This will go on for a while.

If Biden wins both the popular vote and the electoral college, IMHO Trump will have to removed from the White House kicking and screaming like a 5 year old with its toys taken away.
