Is there anything more frustrating than.....?

Thread rules = only one annoyance per post! We all have plenty, but no lists please. Just one post for each thing that winds to you up. Multiple posts are very welcome.

As it's absolutely relevant now, I will start with one of my (least) favourites...

You chill the beer in the freezer because the fridge and 7Eleven isn't quite cold enough. But you get carried away or drink slowly and when you pour 'that beer' it's almost frozen but not frozen...

So the beer won't pour when the bottle's upside down, but when you turn the bottle 'neck up' the frozen froth 'boils out' over the bottle, not in the glass!

Upside down, nothing, right way up, overspill.... ????????????????????

Take it away guys, but please keep relevant to Thailand!

You're following a Thai person (who's walking slowly and often in a random direction) but you need to 'stop' or 'turn' any second.... so you don't overtake them... and then they stop or turn just before where you planned to be!

A driver who pulls out in front of you without looking and the drives at 30kms an hour and you cannot overtake or they drive about 500 meters and turn off the road.

Going to the DLT to renew your driver license, and as proof of address you show your yellow tabien baan and pink ID card issued by the ministry of internal affairs, and which show your picture and the same address already on your expired driving license.

The [woman] behind the counter then makes up her own rules and says, new law in Thailand, that is no valid proof of address

You're riding a big bike at night, on a road with no street lights, and in front of you see a bright white light approaching fast on the same lane you are.

When you come closer you see it is a moped which as decided to remove the red colour from his tail light.

No, can't think of anything really frustrating here. The kingdom of non frustratedness. Language, I suppose; when you go into a 7/11, and ask for something in Thai, but the assistant is like a deer caught in the headlights, cos you're a Farang. Like their brain goes into panic mode.

clickbait on TVF... but ok. playing along about frustrating things in Thailand ...   trying to exit an apartment building only to find that you need a keycard to deactivate the magnetic lock on the front lobby door and exit.  ... and then trying the "fire escape" stairs which lead to a locked gate / wall / another dead end.  so you have to sit around the lobby waiting for someone to open the door.

Girls in 7/11 counting your change out and handing it to you.

You reach out to get the change and they decide to count it again

You put your hand back down , they then hand you your twice counted change

You put your hand back out...............and they need to count the change one more time, putting all the notes the same way .

She hands you the change , you put you hand out to get it .

She pulls the money back...............and puts the receipt under the coins

She then hands you the thrice counted change with all the notes facing the same way and the receipt .

You go to reach for your change for the fifth time.............she suddenly remembers to can get some free stickers with your purchase

Using the Thai rail. When was the last time your train arrived on time? Never, ever happens to me. 30 minutes to 3 hours late. All the time.

Pleasant enough once you are on board. But, getting to that point!

Not only in Thailand but everywhere else, Very frustrating when you know you are right and people just don't get it!!

Why can't people be reasonable and see things my way?

most frustrating thing is when some interwebs yahoo starts a bitchin' thread and limits me to just one complaint.

oh, and another thing.;.........

Going for a jog and just as you cross under the overpass a Pidgeon drops his load onto your head and shoulders, better yet your only half way into your run and still have 4 km to get back home.

Watching the girl at the checkout scan every individual item, even though you have told her and she can see they are all the same !

Why not scan one and x 24 , nooooo it has to be one by one. Same with any multiples of items.

Very frustrating, learn to drink without getting distracted.

Going into a store and asking for a product to be told 'no hab' and walk off.

Or..being told 'cannot' and walking off.

Having to tell food delivery 6/10 times to drive straight while their mobile phone shows a pink coloured line to follow on the easiest possible map with destination within 30 meters. To then drive straight passed you without them checking any house numbers (which you just repeated in fluent thai).

OR they see only you in the entire quiet soi with a smartphone flash on, and still not get you are the customer.

The lazada delivery man, who visits you multiple times a week, for a year, knowing there is always someone there but still calls before every delivery.

Finding out that dental implants are 1/3rd of the price, but same quality and brand, in Istanbul.

Seeing a piddling small jar of Vegemite priced at more than the largest jar in Oz.

I get frustrated with OP's that say, "no lists please."  ????
