I suspect the 14 'foreigners' were not farang.

I also see that in the photo the majority of players appear to be females. This is borne out in the local dens where I live, daytime is almost exclusively frequented by females.

It is always astonishing that gamblers can find such locations but the police not. An unexplainable miracle...

I wonder what the odds are for a foreigner knowing where to find a gambling den are compared to the local BIB knowing where to go?

Gambling at 2 venues, Rayong and Chaeng Wattana, shock, horror, what next?

A denial that: 1 prostitution exists in Thailand.

2 corruption is rampant in Thailand.

3 prayut is doing a good job.

4 lottery tickets cost more than 80Baht.

                        5 insert your own peeve.

Thaivisa notes that the bust comes hot on the heels of an outbreak of the virus centered on a casino in Rayong last week.

So did they test them all for Covid-19 or just take them in and then release them.  Has to be asked if the two gambling locations prior to this one had covid spread from them.

A few hundred more closing as police around the provinces get twitchy about gambling dens spreading Covid and highlighting their little dealings.
