We are not all liberals (but we are definately Trump hating) and absolutely believe that facts matter. Being a Trump supporter and trying to take the high ground on ethics and telling the truth because you MIGHT be correct regarding some small, trivial matter is truly tunnel vision at it's finest and why arguing with a Trump supporter often gets associated with arguing with a pigeon: no matter how good your argument is, they are going to sh$t on the board and strut around like they won the match anyway.

Sorry James....I am far more inclined to believe that the guy who said John McCain was not a war hero because he got caught would say that those who served are suckers and losers...than to think Trump did not say something like that. And lets not forget, we have all seen the tape of Trump spewing that hot garbage about John McCain.

 

Trump calling the military suckers and losers is something that sounds straight up his alley, to tell the truth; right down to the vocabulary and intent he is known for when he is degrading somebody. This has nothing to do with liberals and conservatives. This has everything to do with the fact Donald Trump sucks.

I consider myself a Trump hating patriot.

 

I don't think publicly fondling a flag proves patriotism, I think service to country and a willingness to pay one's fair share of taxes proves patriotism.  I don't think being born rich and being a loud mouth self-promoter makes one qualified to be President, I think understanding the laws, mechanisms, checks and balances, and US Constitution makes one qualified to be President.

 

I think Trump's four years in office has proven me correct.  However a great many people are still enamored by the loud mouth self-promoter.

 

I don't know what you mean by MSM, but I rely on publications that have a history and earned reputation for a balanced reporting of facts and that admit and correct errors when they occur.  What do you consider as reliable media?

I'll answer that for you. Whatever feeds into their echo chambers and definately not what Trump has labelled the 'fake news' purely because they reported the facts and held his givernment up to close scrutiny.

An often quoted moan from Trump fans is they feel the MSM (you know, the ones we have relied on for decades to hold people in power to justice) have unfairly lambasted Trump when the reality is there has been plenty to hold him accountable for; literally doing the opposite of 'draining the swamp' by appointing self-serving devotees who's only qualification was complete devotion to Trump to handing the rich and business the biggest unneccesary tax reduction in history, adding to an already bloated national debt that now stands at $24 trillion to dividing a nation only seen before in the American Civil War. If you had any knowledge of the US Constitution, you would know that there's plenty that the President could have done that he failed to do. He refused to invoke the Defense Production Act to manufacture PPE equipmrnt right from the start. He refused to follow the advice of his White House Covid Council. He denigrated mask wearing and hosted superspreader events. Not only was his so-called ban China air travel inadequate but he waited 40 days to do the same to Europe and another 4 for the UK and Ireland. He opposed ramping up production of tests because he claimed more tests would give an inflated picture of its prevalence. And there's so much more...

Also didn't trump disband the CDC unit based in China, which would have identified the virus and been able to notify the world/US sooner?

You should read this link for education. This pandemic has enforced the importance of federal involvement in US just like the need for WHO to be involved globally. The US constitution was written when states are isolated and communication handicapped, therefore suitable to deal promptly with local epidemic. Times have changed.
