Uriah Heep with Lucy Blues off of their '70 ...Very 'Eavy ...Very 'Umble LP.

Watching a quiz show with my Dad, the question was which Dickens' character was very 'eavy, very 'umble. Quick as a flash, I replied, 'Uriah Heep'.

'Hey'! Dad exclaimed, 'your expensive education has borne fruit'.

'Er, not quite Dad, it's the title of an LP i know.'

To his credit he laughed., he was a good man.

A bygone era.  Nice original tune, Mr. Sun.

I guessed it was TYA listening to those lightening runs and frenetic bass.

What a band!

Replying to Neeranam regarding leg preference, I'm left footed- penalties, free kicks, putting shorts on in the morning, it's the left leg first.

Dancing to Hawkwind, I usually lean to the left.

I watched this movie not to long ago. It's nothing like the films of today. John Travola was hot in his day and the girl that he fell for in this story was damn beautiful, and together they really had something. Personally, I think their kiss and connection at that moment during the dance contest in the movie was probably the best and most believable ever on the screen, but to see that you have to watch the full movie. This is just one song,

Lots of long hair music here. I wonder how many old hippies there are in this forum, and how many of them still have long hair in their 60s, 70s and 80s?

Looking for a song about long haired males, I came across this...

Here's a full song...

Ha ha TBF, 66 next month, i still have a head full of hair. In the 1970s I didn't cut my hair for 7 years and now I'm retired I would like to grow it long again because the dirty forkin hippies were right about a lot of things.

But a few things send me to the barber every 3 months. In the heat of Thailand on the farm, Long hair can get uncomfortable, sticking to your face, ears and neck. Secondly, upcountry Thais are conservative, long hair on a man means a crazy man, a tramp, one of those sad souls wandering the roads, bare footed, unwashed in filthy clothes, muttering to himself.

Thirdly, when you get wrinkles, long hair accentuates your age.

Gary Duncan was born on this day.

Freak out and exercise, aerobics 1969 style.

Bob Seger complaining about prejudice against long haired blokes.
