I posted this before i think a few years ago,i just watched it again after talking to a good friend

from South Afrika today.

One of my favorite artists but he is so unknown,enjoy(please take the time to watched it)

I've watched it several times since 2012.  One of the most moving music documentaries ever, in my humble opinion.  The immense joy and surprise that must have been felt by Rodriguez was equally felt by the fans.  The magic went both ways.  What a twofer!

Traffic's John Barleycorn Must Die LP will always be a most memorable album for me.  Their only folk tune, John Barleycorn, is my favourite.

"Chris Wood was influenced by the folk revival that swept the British Isles in the late 60s. One song he suggested to the group was John Barleycorn, which he heard on the 1965 Watersons record Frost and Fire. The Watersons’ version, like most of their material from that period, was an unaccompanied vocal group performance."
