PHUKET:-- Another full lockdown would result in a huge impact on Phuket’s economy, a leading economic researcher at the Prince of Songkla University Phuket campus has warned.

Dr Chayanon Pucharoen, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at PSU Phuket, has also warned that some people on the island this year will suffer a loss as high as 91% of their regular income.

The warning came in an online video titled ‘Labour and Economy in Phuket during COVID’ posted online under the ‘LaetaLaetai’ (’Let’s see the South’) program by Thai PBS.

Does it really take an expert to say that "Phuket would suffer harshly under another lockdown"?

Economic consequences don't matter to a set of 'leaders' who continue to receive paychecks regardless of how the economy is destroyed.

That's the plan....

They want to be buying business for a bowl of rice....

Yep..., and I always thought the same about fund managers..., wouldn't that be nice if they were forced to invest half their assets in the fund they manage, now that would be interesting....! ????

And also you will get wet if you stand in the rain.

Have these people got nothing to do ?
