Popular Post snoop1130
CCSA spokesman clarifies threat of jail for not using MorChana app By The Nation CCSA spokesman Taweesin Visanuyothin Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) spokesman Taweesin Visanuyothin apologised on Thursday for sparking public uproar with his threat of prison for people who conceal their travel information. Netizens vented anger after Taweesin announced that people might be jailed for not installing the MorChana contact-tracing app on their phones. Social media users pointed out that many people don’t have smartphones capable of running apps. Taweesin responded by apologising for the confusion on his personal Facebook. He clarified that the legal penalty only applied to Covid-positive individuals in the 28 “red” provinces who have no records of travel, including on the MorChana app. The penalty – up to two years in jail and/or a maximum fine of Bt40,000 – would be strictly applied in the five locked down provinces of Samut Sakhon, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat, he said. The MorChana app identifies the Covid status of users according to four colour codes – from green for low risk to red for high risk – and tracks their location. Popular Facebook medic Mor Lab Panda (aka Parkpoom Dejhutsadin) said on Thursday afternoon that Taweesin had assured him that Covid patients who do not own a smartphone will not face charges if they cooperate with health officials. Parkpoom said the CCSA just wanted to encourage people to install the application as a powerful tool to investigate and track timelines. Will the factory owners pay for this. Will the factory owners pay for their crimes of exploitation, smuggling, and reckless behavior, endangering life and the countries economy?????? Do you think that Myamer workers will carry a phone that can track them down and blame them for crimes they did not commit. Will the police, immigration and the army officials who let people cross to tachilek and people gamble in illegal casinos ,not excluding the rest of the country, be charged with reckless behavior endangering life and the economy???? Stay tuned for the next ten years and after that give up, as there would be no answer. These are the very people who the great leader has in his charge yet he fails to reign them in. Popular Post moogradod
I have asked the same in another tread but it fits very well in here, too: Has anybody the latest update on: 1. Do you need Mor Chana or Thai Chana or both 2. Is it needed for travel across provincial borders only or as well within a province (in the past you could write down your name when entering a shopping center etc.) 3. Must location service be switched on all the time ? Neither my wife nor me have a data plan, we use prepaid only Strictly speaking I do not even have a mobile phone but use the second phone of my wife. She has installed Thai Chana on her first phone (but never used it). Therefore she fulfills the requirements I suppose and so do I since I do not have an own SIM card. Or not ? Tricky one isn't it. 3

The alternative at all public establishments is to sign the paper and give contact number on entry and exit timing noted. Doesn’t THAT constitute a travel history. And before we say what about traveling THROUGH a red district? - if we don’t stop we don’t infect. Get a grip guys, let’s contribute positively to this effort not just be negative and look for faults huh?
