I was using a VPN to a Thai server, for another purpose, while I was still logged in to Thaivisa.

When I refreshed the page, unknowingly the VPN was still active, I get a banned page. Refreshing or going to the main portal, still results in the same banned page.

Disable VPN, and here I am again.

Someone can explain

VPN is great, and in my case the only time the page fails to be accepted is when the free VPN times out...

My common tests to invoke whenever a TV glitch occurs; is to actually switch O that free VPN and LogIn afresh (or vice versa if the glitch happened whilst not on vpn

 - the above always clears the air if it wasn't some internal TV glitch

I don't use free VPN.

And the page clearly state that Susco was banned, including all detailed information

Posting over VPN right now. Maybe it is the country of the VPN server that is the issue?

From the OP

Just tried NordVPN to connect to a Thai VPN server (never tried before).

And the connections fails, endless spinning wheel over and over.

I always use the free Hola one

 - it basically give me air time in 2 hour lots, and regularly needs restarting, with a 59 minute re-establishment delay...

... and whilst that delay is in progress, I just leave it be ticking down - and I start a new window non-vpn...

Really, it onl;y becaomes a good tool when someone posts content (video etc) that needs the viewer to appear in the country of origin of that video...

You mean connection to the VPN server fails, or connection to TVF?

I just also discovered on my phone, I had to set to WireGuard protocol to connect to Thai server. Other servers worked on IPsec

I fail trying to connect to the VPN server in Thailand.

So can not contribute to your case.

I had the same, had to change to wireguard to be able to connect to Thai server. IPsec would not connect me, though it would connect to other servers

Just did it again, and here is the page I got

A minute later and I am connected to a Thai VPN (other server than first attempt).

And there is no obvious problem to see.

See my last post above.

Now I AM connected to a VPN server from CAT.

Very slow but TVF seems to work OK.

Different VPN's probably different rules. The VPN I use gave the message "authorization failed".

But connection to VPN is not really the subject of the thread, but rather the banned page, of which I have now posted a screenshot.

Wonder why Bkk6060 has to laugh with this, as he does with many of ny posts.

Must be his IQ level I guess

Different servers don't seem to result in the banned page, only the Thai server.

Posting this with Singapore server enabled

That's odd, been using same VPN and never had any problems ever.

There must be something wrong with the connection or the IP address is banned.

I suspect the latter, but it is strange that it shows personal details on the page, so it doesn't just ban access to TVF, but it bans Susco specifically.

That is a generic screen - not directed at you.  Have received it several times in the past - after making normal posts as I recall.  A bit of a shocker but only temporary.  When the stars are in alignment you get the message.

I just tried Express VPN. OK when connected to UK or Singapore, but Thailand VPN, TVisa says BANNED even though I can still read & post, as I am now doing.

And two minutes later, it does not say BANNED. Strange.

I shall always connect via Singapore.

That is not a generic screen, and I have not got this in the past.

Of course I have cut out the personal details that are displayed below

Please do not take it personally.

You said you were banned due to the equipment you are running when in fact,  you are not.

Must have been a big surprise yes, I find that somewhat funny.  Good you are not in fact banned.

My low IQ and odd sense of humor I guess.

Do you use a VPN server located in Thailand? I never did before and I don't know why I should.

Just academic.

Of course NordVPN works fine usually.
