"Ninja thief" at luxury estate in Nonthaburi baffles police - leaves a calling card on the bathroom floor

Residents at a swanky estate in Nonthaburi are furious about a spate of thefts since last month.

They have dubbed the thief the "Ninja" after evidence of entry via top floor windows and walls.

They want an upgrade to their security. The houses cost 5 million baht up at the estate on the Bang Yai to Bang Khulat Road and they pay tens of thousands of baht a year in fees.

But the front gate and motorcycle based security is not enough and the thefts go on.

The latest "victim" was the tenth but there was nothing to steal in the house.

So the thief left a pooh in the bathroom instead, reported Daily News.

The media said that the police were suffering a headache over the thefts.

"Ton" a houseowner said the residents have put up flyers to raise awareness.

These speak of the "Ninja" and the fact he has disappeared without a trace.

The Ninja targets small items like jewely and watches and is not interested in electrical goods or phones.

Ton didn't believe he was a victim till he checked a box that had been carefully put back in its place and 100,000 in jewelry and valuables were gone.

As soon as I saw "Luxury Estate" I knew we were safe....

Houses are on plots which abut the perimeter wall?

Have a water tank/pool pump shed in the corner against the wall?

Have an outside kitchen where the "roof" is hung from the wall of the house?

etc,etc.

I have seen most of them. Not rocket science.

Surely this should be a case of DNA to the rescue?

Assuming the RTP have a DNA database of course.

He may be quite clever and brought along someone else's pooh... if police catch him, he could say "check the DNA: it's not mine."

Much nicer than the 'calling card' many of the house-breakers leave in the Middlesbrough area of the UK.

Oh...just read the article...that's what he did leave.

We used to have kid at school do the same, but in the teachers desk drawer......his name was Richard the Turd.

A jewelry box full of scorpions might be just the ticket.

You know it's bad when 5 finger pointing is deployed ????

One house had nothing to steal ,while another had

100,000 in jewelry and valuables in a box, the first

house owners must have lost face saying that.

A cunning sneaky thief at that. Isn't that the height of laziness - getting someone else to dump for you?

This type of situation must have happened in the past, when someone accused claims their DNA was 'planted' by someone unknown?

That sounds like potting the brown.

It's the old joke about Steve Davies the snooker player. After the match, in his hotel room he couldn't decide whether to go for the pink or the brown.

Read about it over the years. These scatological rites results from the same psych problems that lead them to crime.

DNA testing may be cutting back on these burglars coup de grace.

Is this poor spelling / translation? I find it hard to believe a ninja thief was carrying a small fat teddy bear around with him/her.

A big stinky poo is a much more likely culprit... I can see the headline now... The turd burglar

They probably aren't paying the security guards enough...

Some dogs, IP cams that upload to cloud, big safe goes a long way I think.

I don't need any security system or rely on the idle guys at the gate... I've got a 4-legged pouch who would rip the s**t out of any ninja.

No wages needed, just the left-over chicken he's ready to rock-n-roll 24/7
