One thing stands out  [ Windows 10 Home Single Language 64 ]

if your buying in Thailand then the SINGLE Language will be Thai, the only way to get English or any other Language will be to buy  Windows 10 PRO

Not according to the seller, I already asked. They say you just select English when setting up Win10, but that might just be to get me to buy. I thought it meant only a single language can be used, ie can't switch between English and Thai.

Re single language.

"Thank you for posting the query in Microsoft Community.

I do understand your concern, however I suggest you to try the below steps and change the language.

  • Go to settings

  • Time & Language

  • Region & Language

  • Add a language. Select your desired language. That can be UK-English or US-English.

Make it default by clicking on it and choosing "set as default". Go to options and download language pack".

  • Thanks 1

It seems it allows you to select English during set up. However I think I can improve on the specs for little extra money. A 512 gb SSD and a 1TB HDD for starters.

Is it really any cheaper buying components, ie tower an monitor than buying an AIO with the same specs? Putting aside that it's usually easier to access and upgrade a tower.

Yeah, right. Looking at some of those components I can't see how it could work out cheaper, especially if you have to pay someone to build it for you.

Totally ridiculous for anyone not an expert IMHO.

Use the specs from the opening post. You will get an idea of the component prices.

You buy the parts from the shop and they build it for free.

I can't be bothered going through the whole price list, but I can buy an AIO with a Ryzen 3, 256 SDD, and a 1TB HDD and that comes with a HD monitor, price around 20,000 baht, with a 3 year on site warranty. How much can you save if you have a shop build it for you? I'd be happy to do it that way if there were decent savings involved.

1TB spinners? I have a stack of 1TB WD Green drives that I'm giving away for free, and nobody wants them... Go for 2TB at least. Data always likes to grow.
