Hi folks, I don’t know how to say this but it straight out of Dear Deidre Column for folks who are familiar. I married a Thai girl last year, she is really kind and lovely. Before I met her, she was doing massage and renting in a small rundown room . After meeting her, falling in love with her and realizing her circumstances, I bought a condo for her to stay in and gave her a life that she didn’t need to work anymore. I had to refinance my own house in England to buy the condo so that she can live in this new place. Last year, she decided she wanted to leave me because she wanted a car and another condo to her name totaling 3million bhat. I reluctantly agreed because of my love for her but now she wants to move out because I cannot provide her 3 million Bhat. It is hard for me as I have to also support children from my first marriage as welll as take care of my wife in Thailand.  Now she wants 3 million or she walks. I still support her every month with 40000 bhat and it’s still not enough.  I am in UK at moment working and now she threatens to burn my condo documents if she doesn’t get the money.  I do love her very much but why doesn’t she see how hard I am trying to balance everything. What do I do ? I feel like a mug but it is what it is. I just need to know what to do if she destroys all my property in condo I bought for her to live in.

money can buy a lot of things, but money can not buy love

My advice: for the future you should avoid to buy anything else

In Thailand when it comes to girls, condos or whatever just rent

it's much less expensive on the long run

Stop the 40,000 baht/month immediately. That is way too much for a massage girl, most would be happy with 5000 - 10,000 baht/month.

Resign yourself to the fact whatever you have purchased for her in her name is gone. If she burns documents that are not her property, it's a criminal offense.  Or destroys your property out of spite.

Tell her to move out, she's a gold-digger.

So did you give her the "original" 3million and she is asking for more or did you just promise her it and buy a condo just for your self because you state
