I thought I read somewhere recently that if entering Phuket no quarantine is needed....Is this accurate?,....can anyone elaborate?....I also heard the same is happening in Samui??

I would imagine that this will applies to visitors who have been vaccinated....if it does happen...but a big IF as we know how quickly things change here

I read that maybe in Oct if you have the vaccine within 3 months.  Oct.  long way from now, so really does not mean anything.  As morning news changes within 4 hours.

A little unclear what you mean..

There is no quarantine if you are travelling domestic to phuket. But if you come from abroad you need the normal 15 nights 16 days quarantine. It is normally done in bangkok since that is the cheaper option.

Certificate of entry, fit to fly, covid insurance as well as health insurance and a booked ASQ hotel is also neede before arriving from abroad . So is an address needed to either a hotel or a personal invite or a lease contract needed to notify where you plan to stay after quarantine. You can fly in on either a visa exemption or on an actual visa. That doesnt matter, but above requirements are needed.

However.. The difference is if you come from thailand itself to phuket or plan to come from abroad.

But for some "Where there is a will there is a way". Its not so complicated, but its very expensive to do it.
