Generic Apple Pencil

Featured Replies

Looks like I have a use for the Apple Pencil.  I see there are off-brands (Logitech etc) that sell a pencil as well.

Has anyone bought a cheap one here in Thailand?

Yup, someone else asked this question before.

I have a Logitech crayon, after 18 months of using and dropping it every day for 4+ hours daily, the stylus seems to have gone. The battery is still OK, it runs for 3 or 4 days with its auto-off f I can replace the stylus.

I have seen people using the cheap AliExpress pencils, when I ask if they are ok, they say yes, but I’m not too sure what that means. The apple pencils are pressure sensitive, the crayon is not, I’m not too sure about the clones.

Only the Apple Pencil are pressure sensitive.

If you want it for any graphics stuff you want the Apple pencil, if you just want it to take notes a generic one should be OK.

Thanks for the info!  Seems like awfully lo-tech tech.  3000B for the Apple Pencil seems a bit steep for something I will use just once in awhile. Cheaper one will work perfect for me.
