After he became the head of immigration, CM immigration suddenly became friendly and more efficient. Now, it's back to being unfriendly, chaotic and maybe corrupt. The simple residence cert needs a ridiculous 1 month to obtain and I see the residence cert girl there chatting all the time. I see the counter staff yelling at foreigners sometimes. If not the brown envelopes will keep appearing (or should I say for the latter, not) But then its Thailand. But to be fair they not the only country in the world where this happens. In the old days I use to call it honest corruption, Trouble now is they all have got greedy.
