2024-28 ? He should be in a care home by the end of 2021.

I guess you forgot (well really I guess you chose to ignore to suit your agenda) Trump on a ramp a couple of years back and Trump claiming to have met and spoken to the President of the US Virgin Islands, who, at the time, was himself.

Pretty sure he read all the reporters names off a list, cannot get more arranged than that can you ?

You can arrange for publications whose reporters ask challenging questions not to be granted access to subsequent press conferences - which is exactly what Trump did.

Indeed you can select who asks the questions, and in some instances there can be a "plant" who will ask the right questions and so on, but it's obvious that many of the trumpies on here don't have a clue about press conferences and so on, so I will impart some information to them/for them..........

I was in a position where I had to front the media when working in senior positions for two multinational companies, and to ensure that the right message came across, I had to undertake what was called "Media Training", and it was much more brutal than I thought, being in front of questioner (sometimes two), spotlights and camera for a day and more, and going over the same territory time and time again until I got it right.

I remember one thing in particular that this media specialist/trainer told me, and it was, "no matter what the question asked, make sure you get YOUR message across, even if it has nothing to do with the question you have been asked, that is your prime objective".

Much training went on with regards to all sorts of tricky questions and I soon got the hang of it.

So.........Pres Biden and his team need to focus on the positive actions they taken, rather than letting the subject/question itself dominate the press conference, esp if the question is slanted against them.

Interesting. I've not been through that kind of training myself but am aware of it. I remember a young David Beckham (and others) mumbling um, um, um all the way through his interviews, it's thanks to the type of training that you described that most present day footballers come across more eloquently.

You seem - like many on here - to think people criticising Care home Biden are huge fans of Tango Trump. Biden is just too old and feeble for the job. He's a clever man in a failing body - you can see his brain fighting the body and losing.

More attempts at polarizing the nation.

Who mentioned Trump?

Ever heard of cleaning your own side of the street?

Criticism of President Biden's human condition coping with old age isn't going to make him any younger. I suggest people wait until there may be evidence that his condition stops him from performing his presidential duties if ever. Occasionally cringe worthy moments dealing with the press don't even come close to rising to that level. Again Google FDR. Biden isn't the first or last president who isn't a perfect physical specimen. If there is ever evidence that he has become permanently unfit to serve I would be on board with people asking him to resign to pass the torch to Kamala Harris.

Yes, the media training experts cover several fields and one of them is specifically aimed at large companies and the safeguarding of the reputation of that company and the training of key and media facing staff to ensure that happens.

Coupled with that is the need to be able to deflect "unsavoury" questions and put forward the company's viewpoint with positive points.

It is an industry and there are some very skilled people in it, as I found out.

The poor rubes who are pointing the finger at Biden because he reads from notes/prompts, or stumbles occasionally, really have no idea what goes on.

Ignorance is bliss, as the saying goes.

The reason for that was that they asked questions that he didn't want, that you would pretend otherwise doesn't alter that fact.

Come off it, are you trying to say Trump wasn't hounded by the press? It was a witch hunt.

I don't like the guy but admit there was ridiculous amounts of media bias towards Biden, which of course affected the result.

Your guy lost, try to come to terms with that reality and quit with the offensive ageist attacks on the man who roundly and fairly beat him.

And if you can’t come to terms with that reality at least try to grasp the idea that old age is what awaits us all and the diseases of old age are undoubtedly something many TVF members are struggling to deal with, either within themselves or within those they care about.

The defeat of your guy was in no small part because Americans want a return to civility and decency - try it on for size, it might fit.

Lost cause I'm afraid.

The lad doth protest way too much.

Of course biden will say he will run again. But thst doesnt mean another dem candidate wont run against him either.

It wont matter who the repubs put up, they shot themselves in the foot with trump that will last at least a decade.

Unless they can rig elections which they are trying to do.

In Georgia it's now a crime to offer food and drink to people waiting on lines to vote. And where are the longest lines to be found with waits that can last hours? Oddly enough, in majority black locales. Hmmm....

That’s called electioneering, and it’s not legal.  Water, fine, but only from 3rd party sources.

No its called humane treatment of people that have been in line all day. Let's get real. The white nationalist Republican party treats dogs better than it treats minority voters in democratic precincts. We've got their number.

It's hard to understand why you have this obsession with Biden's age, because it is what it is, and he knows it, and he also knows that he has a good team behind him and a very capable Vice President waiting to take over – – so no big deal for any straightforward thinking person.

There would be no one more aware of his age and potential shortcomings than him, so you needn't be concerned. and you can creep back into the hole from whence you came.

Vegas odds for a 2nd term not good, +850 and rising.  I’ll probably take that bet.  Saw him in action tripping up AF1 stairs and his staged press conference—looks like a safe bet.

FDR *knew* he couldn't walk up the stairs. Biden had to find out the hard way.

And now President Joe’s off to Camp David for the weekend.  Not much on the agenda.  Not exactly a robust 78-year old.
