They look quite nice but the pastry is too thick and shiny for this type of  pie. I come from the home of "jock" pies and the pastry should look a bit disgusting, a dirty white, quite thin and burnt around the top edge. Hole in the middle should be size of a tanner. I think pastry just made from lard and flour, but lard not that easy to come by these days.
