Thai national TV news Channel 7 reported that a foreign man -  believed to be a white Caucasian - had fled a house when confronted by his mother in law about the disappearance of his wife who is two months pregnant.

The mother had gone to the house in Chai Sathan sub-district of Nan in northern Thailand after being unable to contact her daughter.

She said that her daughter's husband did not answer her questions about where she was and fled on a motorcycle.

The media published screenshots on a video from CCTV showing the man. They did not report his nationality and blurred his features.

She went to the police who searched the house and found bloodstains on a bed, a washing machine and other household items.

All the wife's possessions were in place.

Yesterday a team of 20 officers with sniffer dogs were looking for the woman at the house and in undergrowth nearby.

The mother made a heartfelt appeal for her daughter to come back. She believes that her foreign husband attacked her but that she may still be alive.

Anyone with information for the police has been asked to call 08 2892 9553.

Righto

Wearing a facemask, won't help much with identification either.

You could contact Detective Columbo.

"Err,...........................Just One Other Thing Sir............" ????

That bike he is on will be traced fairly easily, as it stands out.

Unless of course he just torches it.

So the police don't really want any help finding him then?

If I was trying to evade authorities I know exactly how I would dress.  Just like average citizens.  A little sunless-tanning cream and you'll blend right in.
Ta-Da!  Nothing out of the ordinary!

Thai police are hunting Jason Matthew Balzer, 30, after his Thai wife disappeared. The American fugitive is suspected of murdering his four-month pregnant wife. Balzer was living with his wife Pitchaporn Kidchob, 32, in Nan province, Thailand. He allegedly fled earlier this week after Pitchaporn's mysterious disappearance.

Balzer was released on bond for physical assault in from Longmont, Colorado, back in 2019 before moving to Thailand the following year. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly trying to have sex with his ex-girlfriend, who refused, and attacking her with a gun.

These people should never be allowed to enter foreign countries. They are a danger to society.
More background checks are needed. Thai immigration should require foreigners to present  a criminal background check before allowing them to enter. It's time that they clamp down on this.,

How come Thailand always manages to attract the absolute very best out of every country in the world?

Sadly you can see this kind of lawless behaviour in many who choose to settle here.

One has a lot of leeway here; but given enough rope they regularly hang themselves.
