Originally Scots, Danish and French ancestry. A lot of woke First Nations stuff going on in Australia now, apparently I'm still an invader after 4 generations born there.

Although born, raised and educated  (some that know me would say 'dragged up') in the UK, I have spent so much of my career outside of the place that I usually say that I'm not really from anywhere, but I am a UK citizen. Despite many years in the UK Military, for which I am always grateful,  I now feel no real affinity, affection, or indeed loyalty for and to the UK. Its really quite sad that I don't feel more for the place, but there it is.

Not surprised by UK response and Oz also despite it's small population.

Thinking if a poll was done on bar ownership and patrons the numbers of UK and AU would be right up there.

Can't recall having a beer in bar owned by Canadian and only few run by Americans. Perhaps they are to clever to own a bar.
