Nine countries have meanwhile banned the use of the AZ vaccine but this does not seem to disturb anyone in Asia or even Thailand.

More countries ban alcohol than that.

And, it means 185 or so have not banned AZ

List those that have, then we can consider if their opinion is worth anything.

In posting in this thread, I'd strongly urge everyone to please keep in mind the following longstanding forum rule:

1) You will not express disrespect of the King of Thailand or any one member of the Thai royal family, whether living or deceased, nor to criticize the monarchy as an institution.

By law, the Thai Royal Family are above politics. Speculation, comments and discussion of either a political or personal nature are not allowed when discussing HM The King or the Royal family.

To breach these rules will result in an immediate ban.

No surprise there.

Exactly what many TV posters said.

In another report Anutin said that the vaccine rollout will start on the 7th as planned. I guess that will be the Sinovac vaccine. People wanting AstraZeneca will probably have to wait.

Come on, give them a break. It takes time to fill a 200 litre drum.....

Why is Thailand selling vaccines to the Philippines before they have even started vaccination of there own people,  total greed.. never mind the Thai people that the PM said he loves so much a few weeks back,

They should only be selling locally produced AZ once everyone in Thailand been has received both jabs...

Bare ass'd speculation here but perhaps part of the agreement with AZ allowing them to produce it was they must export vaccines to other parts of SE Asia as well ?

I have saved the whole article, before it gets deleted, which it will be.

this the last paragraph:

"If and when this pandemic ever gets under control, the people responsible for this vaccination crisis must be brought to stand trial because what is happening is criminal."

is that a Section 112 in the distance?
