Hundreds of thousands of people visit Koh Tao. I have talked  to my friends who stay there often and they  just laugh  at the  stupid death island nonsense. They think it's really stupid. A South London suburb is more dangerous  than Kao Tao. Even my wimpy, woke, snowflake  friends consider Koh Tao to be a friendly , fun, relaxing safe space. But what would they know? They only visit the place and live  there  for long periods  of time.  I bet most people who come up with the 'Death Island' rubbish have never been there.

I would be interested to hear how deep this pool was. Was it even too deep to stand up in? It looks very small from the photo. Many pools are not more than 1.4 meters.
