I just don't get it, For the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would actually holiday there !!! Okay maybe those with a deathwish, but a billionaire in the hotel business who must have been fully aware of the islands reputation!! Maybe it was a suicide pact.

Maybe they knew better than to be influenced by baseless rumours.

Why go into a pool if you can't swim?

I do and I can't swim. But I always have a good swimmer in attendance.

Stop it please, all angles were investigated.... That will be a first here, never before has that been done, and i personally doubt it will be done in this case.

I had no idea you were the resident expert on police investigations in ALL of Thailand!

Perhaps because the relatives in this case didn't see any suspicious, but only an accident...????

Maybe they're all wearing the same blinkers?

Plenty of cause for suspicion, but if there was any foul play, that's going to show up in autopsy and toxicology reports. If the son and his girlfriend had anything to do with it, they should be shaking in their boots; beer bottles at poolside table have been retrieved, CCTV cameras in vicinity of hotel will be able to confirm son's "went for a walk" alibi, any family dysfunction will soon come to light. Let the police finish doing their job before passing judgment.

Would be nice if that also counts for all earlier mysterious deaths on the island, so its originally good reputation can be restored.

I've been in Thailand for many years and I can't recall when the island had a good reputation. Can someone help us out here?

haha "all angles covered" and then go on to list the very most basic things such as "how deep the pool is"... honestly what a joke! And they wonder why the Thai police has a reputation in tatters.

Yep - in the photo there is a sign on the floor saying 2.2m  .... I'm guessing that's a clue ????

2 Adults in a pool the worst case scenario is that one can't swim panicks grabs the other person! I simply cannot accept that the swimmer of the 2 would simply allow him/herself to reach the bottom of the pool bend their knees and launch the other person up and forwards so that they could grab the side then join them!

Gotta be a very bad piece of luck to drown each other nothing short of video evidence will sway me from believing there's foul play afoot.

Wirachan said that all angles were being investigated to determine if this was murder or an accident. He said it was important that all doubt needed to be cleared up.

...but they sowed the seed of doubt in the first place. Why do they do this every time. Hastily make ann9uncements that clearly can't be based on any evidence and then get enmeshed in a series of amateur Sherlock conspiracy theories and in the end any conclusion or prosecution is so flawed as to be worthless.

First thing to establish, is if they knew how to swim,

and that will be easy to establish, hearing friends &

relatives and maybe also staff at their hotel in Phuket.

If they where good swimmers, any drowning in the pool,

both of them at the same time, is of course not plausible!

The toxicology report will show if there where any substance

in their bodies at the time of death, that could have made

them not to behave as normally they would in the water.

Another stone to turn, is if there where any problems with their

business in Phuket, and I do not mean the Covid.

Since they where billionaires, I do not think they had to much

issues about bringing "food on the table".

Many more questions need to be answered, but this is the

questions that should be investigated pronto!

                                        RIP!

Why does that policeman have a bottle opener stuck in his neck?

And why does he have gold wings (and a parachute insignia) on his shirt??

Is he a qualified pilot, or just been in an aeroplane once?

I earned mine the long and expensive way!
